Sceneric place to stop while heading towards solang valley and there are also very cozy hostels and hostels in burva when you cross the bridge.

I had a solo trip to manali last year (I am posting it late). The mountains the view feels like you are heaven. Especially after mid December. You will get to see fresh snow in so lang valley.

Edit: When I wanted to visit so lang valley there was 16 kms long traffic. I prefer that you should get by 6:00 am and leave for so lang with your vehicle or cab.
