View Point

This is one of the best place admire God's beautiful creations. What a marvelous sight of nature. The view is immensely breathtaking and awesome. If you are a photography enthusiast, than this is the place you must visit. The drive upwards is painful but worth it. Thank you Lord for your wonderful creations.

This place is just wonderful , have beautiful mountains and breath taking sites With waterfall and greenery all around the road. You can also spot some horses grazing upon the fields. This route is open till end of November in summers this place is best for chilling , putting tents and for raod trip
. In winter's condition goes pathetic. Snow is all round the passes and the route goes closed.

We travelled from Manali around 2A.M and reached to Rohtang around 8A.M. It was first week of June2018 This is like heavens on earth. Natural and panoramic sceneries will definitely stablize you. Glaciers, rivers and pin drop silent feeling are the points of interest.. unforgettable moments, I love it.

Hi, this review is for people looking answer where to find snow near manali in april last week when rohtang is still not opened. So we went gulaba yesterday 29th april with an aim to reach as close to rohtang as possible, but we were stopped at gulaba check point and that is last point where you are allowed as of now. There is literally no snow at gulaba right now. You have to climb uplhill around 7 km to see snow. We took a horse. Be careful they have two kind of rides 500 and 1000 (one way charges), 500 one is a waste because they will drop you halfway and then again you have to walk 4km for snow. We took 1000 one and,it was a good idea to take horse beacuase it is really tiring in this weather and if have kids or senior citizens then climbing on foot not possible. We saw many people who climbed 3-4km and came back without seeing snow because they couldn’t go further. I checked with officers at check post and they said it might open in may 2nd week.(We walked another 1km from horse dropping point)

Nice snow covered mountain which are accessible even for kids. Skking is overrated as its just a small strip and costly. Snow clothes are available on multiple shops however wollen socks are not covered in cost. Gloves and glares are to be bought separately.

Lush green area with nice view all around in June month. Stuck there for almost 1.5 hours due to breakdown of one truck coming from opposite direction.

Well the views are surreal there...& The place where we were was magicall ..there was this tiny stream flowing down the pebbles & magnificent views And snow as well tht too before rohtang pass..P.S.visited there in November

Nice place ,I get a little snow there ,to reach to this point one can take horse or simply trek.it will take roughly 2 hours to reach there ,the view is awesome.One can wear traditional himachali dress and click photo like I did.one can get kesar over there ,soups Maggie are sold with a very high price.I will suggest carry chocolates.It is best .

A must visit place if you are in Manali. The beauty here is scenic, air and water are very pure. A great place to spend time alone or in some company. Keep in mind to carry some woollens, and take help of local guides if you are alone.

Gulaba, don't go by the name as there is nothing related to gulab or rose. It is a place which comes under local site seeing of Manali. Mainly visited as an alternate to rohtang pass as rohtang pass is not open through out the year. Gulaba is on the way to rohtang pass and in the times when you are not allowed to visit rohtang you can stop by gulaba and trek few kms to see snow, although that is not guaranteed.

The place is very scenic and it will be lovdd by people of all age group. Even if you don't want to trek, sit there, have a plate of Maggi and get some 🤳.
