If u have enough time then u can enjoy this ride of 3.5 hours to shimla.. it will give u better experience. And the station is easily accessible parking is available.

You can get good tea and light snacks here. This is a a big station and train stops here for around 10 min. You can find steep pine trees and lush green jungles, and in the middle you will find houses seems like hanging on to the hills.

Dharampur is a town located in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh.[1] It is located in Kasauli tehsil, about 65 km from Shimla and 15 km from Kasauli on the National Highway 22. It is also connected by the Kalka Shimla Railway Line. It houses the first tuberculosis sanatorium in North India. C R.P.F. (Central Reserve Police Force) camp on N.H. 22 on Shimla Road.

This is a very small town on the Chandigarh Shimla highway...
Main attraction is very good eateries and a few factory second sale outlets....
Apart from these, it also has the usual collection of shops and vendors....
The eateries are really good, funky and stylish....
The hilly weather, chilly air, clear blue sky makes the place ideal for a stop over for travellers....
From here road diverts for Kasauli, Subathu, and Dagshai.....which in turn are beautiful places

Dharampur solan is the beautiful village at NH 22 Chandigarh -Shimla highway.Lot of places are surrounding like kasauli hills ,dagshai hills,Nature camping site etc.
