The kumaoni thali is a must have along with the sabut dana fingers and mutton ghee roast. The best and must try authentic food if you want to try some local cuisine. Not to be missed at all. Plus they have a shop below where you can shop local stuff which is very amazing and organic.

This was the best experience when you are new to Bhimtal.
I was coming back from Bhimtal Lake and on my way i saw the rooftop restaurant.
When i entered got to know that it was made in a design of a cottage.
We were little sceptical but the taste was 5/5.
I personally was so happy as i was coming back to delhi and it fulfilled my hunger and there was no acidity as well because it was pike a food which you prepare at home.

Location is excellent , no idea about food because it was closed by the time i arrive at 9a.m

We went to this place twice once for dinner and once for breakfast. Both the time our experience was really good. For dinner we ordered the corn tikki, kumaoni thali, north indian thali and urad dal ki jalebi. Really glad that we tried kumaoni thali and jalebi.

For breakfast we ordered upma, poha, sabudana tikki, veg sandwich and chicken keema in steamed bun. And all of the food was really good. Their coffee, Oreo shake and nimbu pani were equally good.

Have been going to Belpatra since its inception. Rohit bhai & Geeta ji personally take care of the operations of the restaurant. Being owners they keep updating the menu and keep a check on quality and service both. All the servers are execeptionally responsive. Food is exceptionally tasty.

One of the best cuisine near Nainital & Bhimtal. It has eye catching ambiance with a food that gonna love by ur taste buds. Many different types of sitting arrangements and ample car parking. Clean n hygiene washroom.

Very well decorated Eco friendly place with pleasant view and delicious food. Very nice and cooperative staff. I visited along with family and my younger kid loved enjoying that place.
If you are in Bhimtal you must visit that place.

Delicious food n great ambiance

The best food I ever had at a restaurant. Kumaoni Thali was authentic. Mutton Ghee Roast was lip smacking. Egg fried rice was tasty.

Next day we had paratha, poha, tea, sandwiches and coffee which were good as well.

A warm ambience. Delicious and lip smacking cuisines. Ease of parking. Belaptra Cafe has it all. Glad that we stopped at this amazing hidden gem. Just opposite I heart cafe, this little cosy cafe will capture your heart. Their well crafted cuisines are just true to the taste. The staff is so polite and welcoming that you shall get the home feel. If you're seriously a food enthusiast and looking for the best of continental or local cuisines then you can't miss Cafe Belpatra. For veg lovers:

We wanted to try some new cafes in bheemtal and found this gem. I loved, how gorgeously it stands amidst serene nature.
Loved the solid wood work, the stoned staircase, the open deck area for enjoying beautiful evening and snacks.
The best thing is that- they serve local kumaoni cuisine(although very expensive).. but again.. every cafe their, have such exorbitant rates.. okay now coming back to food..
The food is delicious.

We tried their white sauce pasta, veg grilled sandwiches, veg. hand made noodles in Schezwan sauce, And Nutella Hot Chocolate.

The staff was very kind, I asked them why they don't serve garlic toast with white sauce pasta, they got me a buttered brown bread as complimentary (though it didn't go well with pasta, but it was a sweet gesture) I JUST LOVEee how servers try to make efforts to make us happy.
Please do try their palak patta chaat, we couldn't try then they were out of palak😅.

I am the experimental foodie person, that- hand made Schezwan noodles were my choice, sadly which wasn't upto the mark, could have done better.
Pasta and sandwiches were filling and delicious. Also portions were quite generous.
A must visit cafe.

I visited this cafe while i was visiting my home in bhimtal from noida. It was a fortunate experience
Ambiance is 5/5
Service is 4/5
And food was 4/5
Reason being coz i didn't order much just an omelette & some tea for my companions but hopefully in future if I'll visit the place I'd try more.
But the serving size was fine and the bread quality was better than usual, we later found out they bake their own bread when we had a chat with the owner.
We gave our suggestions for the place, hope to see that kabir's doha next time i visit it.

Enjoyed the food, loved the surrounding and the ambiance of the place. You get to enjoy food with a nice view from the balcony. The lighting inside is pretty soothing, it give you some chill laid out vibes.
The centre of attraction is the belpatra tree itself you can't miss it when you enter.

The owner is quite gentle & takes good care of the guests visiting, as soon as you enter you'll realise he has put his heart in the making of this cafe.

You have ample space for parking with regards to hilly area. The washrooms were quite clean and hygienic as well.

Visit this place and you won't be disappointed.

I wish the owner best of luck on his endeavour. May he achieve success with belpatra.

I visit this place frequently. It's one of my favourite restaurants near Bhimtal & Mehragaon. Very nice and calming ambience, fantastic service, great food, and they have generous quantities at reasonable prices.
Highly recommend their Kumaoni thali and Urad Dal Jalebi, but also love their parathas and dal. You can also get your fix of artisanal coffee here.
Lots of parking space, and a cute little store at the entrance has some nice himachali products.

What a hidden gem! Bang opp i-heart cafe but we prefered this as it was emptier than the cafe and hence safer in these times. We came in post lunch (sitting here as I type..) and ordered red pasta, white pasta, pumpkin kebab, non veg pizza, oero shake etc. Every single dish has been tasty and feels high quality. Service was quick too and the ambience is terrific. Do give this one a serious look if you want to experience a good dining experience in Bhimtal. Highly recommended

Best cafe if you are going to Mukteshwar in fact you should change your route. The kumouni raita and thukpa is a must along with buraas ka juice. Loved the authenticity and the prices. There is a small woolen souvenir shop which makes this place even better all together

Belpatra cafe and kitchen is one of the most amazing place I have ever been to. Sitting on the Deck enjoying music with delicious food and above all surrounded by a divine view is awesome. So I ordered thin crust pizza and chicken sandwiches which were delicious. I couldn’t resist we can came for dinner and ordered chicken tikka and wings which were simply mouth watering.

The menu there has a wide variety of food and with love they serve us and our family was highly appreciated.
