Reading Facility Library

Peaceful Place for reading, No disturbance. High speed internet available. You need Library card to access this. Separate Halls for PG and Phd. A separate room for competitive exams ,full of different books. You can sit at 1st floor for reading if you didnt get seat in ground-floor.

The library is top notch with updated systems and fully electronic. It has accessibility to disabled with systems required . It is fully air conditioned and comfortable seating with natural light.

More thn a reading room, coming here from last week, just amazing place for students who wanna read .

The absolut answer for best in Pondicherry university is "reading Hall".calm,undisturbed and technically equipped gives an immense energy to focus on your work.From 8:00am to 3.00 am(19 hours)reading room is open for 5 days but for weekends (saturday & sunday) only upto 10pm. The ground floor is sectioned into three parts one big hall for pg and ug students on the road side. The rest two sections for the PHD and handicapped students on the back side.The ist floor is mixed up. Security check at the main entrance is there to enter.

The best place in the university.

Time 9:00am -11:45pm not 24 hours. Fully Air conditioned. Clean , WiFi is good. Tables are not large but the chairs are good . Now a LCD screen is added where the advertisement can be seen.

However, You should spend much more time here if you are University Student specially Chemistry.

Library Annexe is quite calm and cool environment. Peace of mind and can focus on study without any disturbances. Air Conditioner is a bit noisy.. hope PU Admin will fix it before next NAAC visit 😉😉

Great initiative by the University. Not a 24*7, still better than having none. It'll be opened till midnight i.e 11:45 PM. Best option for students who couldn't study in hostels for different reasons. Best thing is it got WiFi and air-conditioning. Overall it's good.
