It was establish in 2014 .

Update : As the pandemic session has gone so the offline classes have resumed .

# Few drawback of this college is small campus life ,
so everytime it feel like crowded inside it .
Only two elevators are there but so many students so sometimes we have to wait for a long time . As our classes are usually taken in the 10th floor so incase of emergency we have to take the stairs T^T

Big Campus With A Huge Tower Of The University Situated In Agarpara. As A Student Of Law We Have Court Visits And Seminars With Legal Aid Programmes And Activity. Our Faculties Are Friendly & Seniors Are Helpful. We Are Gaining A Good Knowledge Here.

A Mobile Science Exibition was organized in this university premises by BITM, Kolkata on the occasion of science model competition.

JISU is a private college which in last few years has become one of the best private colleges in Kolkata with student friendly environment it also provides lot of courses and has a good number of placement and infrastructure. The fees structure of this college is also low compared to the other private colleges so I think it's really beneficial in all aspects to choose this college for further studies after class 12 and also has (Hons) courses available for your bright future

JIS University was an amazing experience for me. I was able to learn so much and the campus was beautiful. The teachers were very helpful and I had access to the best facilities. The campus was a great place to socialize and have fun. I would absolutely recommend JIS University to any student.

JIS University is a multidisciplinary unitary University offering various UG, PG and PhD courses like Law, Education, Pharmacy, Management, Engineering and Basic Scienses. It started in 2015 and have achieved various accolades within first seven years.

I am a student of this university. I am so glad to to be a part of this university. I remember when I got admission the campus was not that enchanting how it's now. But in 2022 the campus has become one of my favourite place to spend time during off periods. Faculties and staffs are so cooperative. I admire this jis foundation with whole heart.

It is truly a top private university in India. It offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in engineering, management, law, design, arts and science with excelkent support to student.

It's a marvelous experience , it's like our 2nd home.

Infrastructure is good. The classrooms are all well managed. There are A/C hall rooms and practical rooms, and Wi-Fi facility is available. There is good space in every practical lab and classroom. Fans and lights are available in all the classrooms. The campus outside is very big with a basketball ground. Most of the outdoor games can be played there, including cricket and football.

Faculty members are good. They are very helpful, they help a student with every problem if you don't get understand you will free to talk with them. All faculty members are highly educated and qualified. They are very knowledgeable and the teaching method is modern for easy understanding.

Placement record is 100%. College is linked with many companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Uber etc. But the student will need to score well in your exam then students will select from campusing, so score well and get the best jobs in a very good salary.

Absolutely fantastic place to study. Lovely friendly staff that are always on hand to help if you have any problems. Staff are more than qualified to teach lessons. Staff are great if you need any one to one help. I feel safe whilst I’m studying both in and around campus overall would highly recommend to any student thinking about attending the JIS University, Kolkata. Especially Department of Chemistry absolutely fantastic. Faculty members of Department of Chemistry organised NET & GATE coaching here.

It's one of the best university in INDIA

The university is so big .. counsellors are so active there is a big playground but one disadvantage is the two universities (jis University & narula institute of technology) have same campus
