I had a great experience at J Wellness Circle.

I had the shodhana / “detox” treatment, which focuses on lymphatic drainage. Pari gave the treatment and was excellent. I can tell she is dedicated to her craft. I was impressed.

It starts with ~10 min in a steam room, which is important for warming up your body so the rest of the treatment can be most effective. Then I was led to the main treatment room and had a short foot massage with oil (I was seated, and there was hot water with oils where feet were being massaged/scrubbed). Then the main massage on the table began. It was truly full body treatment and so relaxing. Nothing was overlooked.

I normally live in New York and get lymphatic drainage massages at Angela Guerra, one of the best, so I have very high standards. I wasn’t sure how this would go since I saw a few negative reviews. But after trying it for myself, I’m really glad I went and thought it was completely worth the time and money. Especially after traveling a lot / being jet lagged, etc.
