Superb place. I stayed for 4 nights. If someone wants to get traditional feel then this one is to be considered. I love the evenings here. It became my ritual to listen to birds and peacocks, to enjoy the mesmerizing chanting in evening. Had a great time.

Pachewar fort lies at 80 Kms from Jaipur- Ajmer in the Tonk district of Rajasthan. Fortified enclosure widely popular for its quadruple structure is 350 year old structure. The walls had witnessed the chivalry of the Khnagarots during its existence. At present the fort is a successful heritage hotel. The guests get a feel the golden royal era providing the guests an opportunity to relive the royal life. However, the commendable success story of the fort as a heritage hotel it had to undergo prolonged legal turmoil which was at last won by Thakurani Nandeswari Devi (mother of the present owner). The court verdict announced went in her favor, entrusting the ownership of the property to the family. The fort which had become dilapidated during this time was restored, renovated and turned into its past grandeur again.
