Easily one of the best railway station service provided in Tamil Nadu. It was the unique place where the bus stand and railway station was walk-able distance. The station has a waiting room which is charged on the hourly basis and maintained well. It has good drinking water services.

One of my memories at that place on 31/10/1996. Till now 27 years passed. I went to trip to Kanyakumari to attend relative's marriage first time by Roadway. While returning to Dindigul District, the bus stopped there around 9 pm. I and relatives had a dinner there. I saw an elephant moving there. Many sweet shops nearby. One of the known sweet shop is Arasan sweets. Second time trip to Kanyakumari by Railway on 17/10/2021 just 2 years passed.

To Railway department, please ensure safety of people who use your station by control dog roaming in your place by sending them to cattle shelter or imposes fine to cattle owners

Cleanliness is improving. But the escalators are not in working condition

Very clean, with proper announcements, AC REST HALL WITH TOILET, WIFI, 20 PER HOUR GOOD

Tirunelveli Junction is good, everyone is helping minded people. Little mess with the station, it needs to be clean. Outside of the station have good tastiest hotels and halwa shops. I had my dinner at New Ruchi Hotel. Taste was awesome and serving very fast. Then, I brought halwa and some sweets.

Neat platforms. And this is the only junction in Tamilnadu have a national leader statue in front side view. His name is kamarajar. Former chief minister of Tamilnadu. And also have a highest national flag in front of it.

Tirunelveli railway station is one of the top stations in Southern TN. The station is centrally located and is very close to the city's old bus-stand. The station complex has a couple of ATMs, a refreshment center, parcel service booking counter, India post office, etc. The station has two entrances on the front side (old complex and a new complex). The station operates round the clock and has trains connecting different parts of the state and country.
