Goddess Madurakali Amman is most powerful diety, I visited some 20 years before there was nothing near by temple.
Now recently I visited 20days back,the temple has been built and maintained very well.

This temple is open only on Mondays and Fridays. The ticket price is nominal 100 person. But the people working there needs to be more organised in allowing the public for dharshan.

People who were coming in free dharshan were given preferences over people who had got special entry tickets.

Best place and make us peaceful . Monday and Friday would be better to come. Some special days are exceptional.

There is a Hindu temple here. I have been here and I like it very much and on monday that day the consecration of the Goddess takes place here, this is a conscious temple.

On our way to Srirangam from Chennai during our recent road trip, had the good opportunity to worship Shri Mathura Kaliamman at Siruvachur, located 280 Kms from Chennai, 8 Kms from Perambalur and about 50 Kms from Trichy. The presiding deity is believed to be Kannagi who helped Chelliamman the local deity to be relieved from the control of an evil Tantriik. Kannagi invoking the powers of Kaali killed the tantrik and ensured Chelliamman regained her powers. Pleased with Kannagi, Chelliamman asked Kannagi to remain in her place at Siruvachur by the name Mathura Kaali and she moved to the nearby hills. Temple is open from 8am to 8 pm on Mondays and Fridays . It is believed that Mathura Kaali stays with Chelliamman on the remaining days of the week. Free, 25 Rs and 200 Rs Darshan is the practice in the temple.

I visited this temple 20years before with my parents. For God believer, it's definitely a powerful temple of godess Madurakali Amman.

Another old temple located near Perambalur, Trichy district on Chennai-Trichy Highways. People can reach Peramblur and take auto or bus to reach Siruvachur temple. Monday and Friday would be crowd and less crowd on other days.

I visited Oct 2023 at one of the navaratri festivals. Now temple maintenance is improved and clean. Free, 25rs and 400rs dursan available. Car parking at 10 INR.

Very neat and clean , well maintained & organised . This temple is open only in Monday and Friday ,two days in a week . So plan accordingly you trip . In that two days occhi kala Pooja is start by 1 pm . You need to take 100 rupees ticket for that where you can see the god peace fully. You will have more time .

Great Darshan, the temple is my family diety, (Kula Swamy) and it's open only on Monday and Friday. But since we have the festival starting from morrow they have kept the temple open today and no other devoted or family are there, we went directly inside to see and the blessing from her to all. The temple is about a km diversion to the left enroute to Chennai from Madurai . The temple is well maintained and is getting decked up for Kumbabishekam . Villagers flock on every weekend . The temple is located a few feet lower from ground level
