Amazing design and atmosphere that makes you feel at home instantly. It’s easy so socialize here and likely you’ll make new friends, which is a rare thing in todays world. Very grateful this spot exists! There’s an amazing view of Arunachala. And the food tastes extremely healthy, simple, and satisfying.

I visit the inner child since a long time now and it’s one of the best places I eaten so far in India. I have traveled through India since 25 years and this restaurant has super delicious and fresh food. The service is also very nice and they have a very beautiful view on Arunachala there is really nothing more to ask for.

The Inner Child Restaurant is very close to Ramanashramam and Yogyramsuratkumar Ashram.

Quiet location, cozy atmosphere, good view of the blessed mountain Arunachala, all the food is absolutely delicious, the sweets are very good, they make tasty bread, the best capuccino in Tiruvannamalai you’ll find here; the owner Prem and his mom, together with the whole staff are so nice and friendly and they make you feel always like home here; very good WiFi also; the best veggie burger with French fries; delicious papaya smoothie. The service is very good and very fast. In just a few minutes we have received our ordered food. They always asked us if the food and everything was good so they always take the feedback.
If you come to Tiruvannamalai you definitely have to come here. This location will brighten your view about Tiru.

I went back again and the service , food and ambience was excellent . 5 stars highly recommended.

The location is excellent. It is a calm, clean and beautifully presented. It exceeded expectations. The service although "polite" was absolutely abysmal. Took over 15 mins to make a coffee. I am now 30mins in and still waiting for an omlette. There is hardly anybody else here. The only order before me was for a coffee and a brownie. I politely asked what had happened to my omlette, and was told "one by one , Sir". I said that there was no one before me. I was then told "trustees come first", a lady who I presume was such a trustee had come 15mims later and had been served. The Omlette has arrived and it looks great. I suspect that the 'cook' had not yet arrived and out of embarrassment I was not told that there would be a delay. Somewhat disappointed. But now I know what to expect somewhere between 30-50mins from ordering to getting what you want. Great if you have no plans other than sitting around.

Some time later the owner did come and was super annoyed and irritated that I had given a low rating. She then began to make all kinds of untruthful claims.

It is a great place and super clean. Don't come too early in the morning as the cook may not be there. The Omlette, smoothie and coffee were all good. The smoothie arrived 10 mins after the omlette only after someone else who came 40 mins also ordered the same.

It's highly possible that my experience is unusual.

I changed my rating to give the owner the benefit of my experience being unusual, and I don't want to impact all of the hard work that she and her family will have invested in creating this place.

Had hot chocolate and gluten free almond chocolate cake here. Both were fresh , delicious. Yet to try other items on their menu.

We have found our second home in Tiruvannamalai at the Inner Child Restaurant.

Prem and his mom Kumari, as well as the team Viswa, Priya and Shanthi have created a warm and welcoming space that offers clean, healthy and delicious food! The view of Arunachala can't be beat!!

Make sure to check out the specials board for some dishes that aren't on the menu, although you can't go wrong with any choice you make.

Wow. Amazing rooftop restaurant. Brilliant staff, food, drinks, open-air atmosphere, gorgeous Arunachala view-connection, and even live music some evenings. A new favorite spot in Tiru. Highly recommend!!

It‘s a place to feel comfortable and chill while enjoying delicious fresh food. I enjoyed the porridge, smoothie bowl, rice wrap, and the Arunachala bliss bowl. On top of that you get a great view of Arunachala hill and even a selection of books to read.

Best espresso drinks in Tiru! Sweet service! Delicious, healthy, conscious food by Prem and team. After staying in a clean and beautiful Inner Child apartment for two months, I got to experience the restaurant at all the hours and all the ways. I couldn’t find better hospitality or food in Tiru. 🙏🏼 Inspired live music many evenings. Only thing is make sure to arrive before the early closing time to get your food order in. My new home away from home at ⛰ Arunachala.

If someone is looking nice, full of warm, friendly atmosthere restaurant is on the top of this guest house. Food delicious, made with good energy ;) Owners very good, honest people. We were driving back from Pondicherry, hungry and thirsty, looking for a good peaceful stop to eat and viola! We found this amazing place called inner child restaurant on google search. It is around two three kms deviation from the highway and the place is worth the stop. Despite being a vegetarian restaurant, the food is cleanly and delicately prepared bearing in mind the food quality, taste and the quality that is served. They bake delicious breads, make tasty burgers and salad is my favourite.thank you Prem for amazing service.
I’ll ensure that I visit this place again and again.

Have just spent the best part of a week here. Location great, felt like we were part of the local scene! Loved being close to all the beautifully coloured and decorated houses. Host is very accomodating and accessible. The apartment was secure and comfortable and in a quiet location. Most enjoyable place to stay.

I'm impressed by this restaurant. This is the best place in Tiru to chill out and eat. Stunning view of Arunachala. Delicious and healthy food, cooked with sincere care and love. The best orange juice and latte coffee in India:))) The owners bake yummy bread themselves! Very clean and beautiful in the restaurant itself. The attitude to the guests is so warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful serene light and airy rooftop restaurant ( covered with screens so no mosquitos) with a gorgeous view of the mountain. The menu has a lot of healthy choices and the dishes are prepared with love by the very friendly and attentive Prem and his staff. I've come here very often during my 2 month stay!

Delicious food, value for money very good compared to other western places. I got roast pumpkin and other veggies, and it was delicious. Home made bread also yummy. Staff very friendly. Forgot to take a pic at the start of my dish, it looked very nice when it was served.

The most amazing restaurant in town. You will not find fresher and better prepared yummies anywhere, and the price is decent too. The host Prem is a wonderful person. The view is amazing as well, and the layout really cozy. I could eat here every day (and did, pretty much ;)).

What a great place: Freshly renovated, clean, western standard bathrooms, well equipped. It faces a quiet back street and includes a Roof terrace. The host is magnificent and helpful, always available. We had a simply perfect stay!
