Rishra

It is a railway station between Howrah to Bandel, Bardhaman, Katwa, Arambagh, Goghat, Tarkeshwar line. It consists of 4 platforms. The location is good. Many factories are near the location. Many housing complexes are raising near the station. Some of the flats are already built. Outside the station auto and toto service available. There are many colonies of people who belong to different religions, different castes, different languages and different cultures. A lot of them are earning and living by the factories.

I love this station because this station has many big tree.❤❤❤

I live here and I born here i know this station well the station is developed when mamta banerjee is the railway minister of india. You can get juice, tea, and other snacks. You can also enjoy lots of junk food hare.....

One of the densely population of Rishta starts from here all cast live here happily without any prior sign of caste based division. Mainly Marwari population followed by Muslim population. The station is spacious and large seating Accommodation for passange no big Mail express train s stop here, only Local stops here like, bandel local, bardhamman local, serampore local, TARAKESHwar local, Goghat local, Singur local, Memari local, seoraphuli local, chandannagar local.

Rishra is a small town located in the Hoogly district of West Bengal. It is easily accessible via local train from Howrah station. Rishra has town has all the amenities and facilities to reside in. It is located near the bank of Hooghly river and is home to many factories.

Nice and clean station..you also get to try a lot of junk foods

A enjoyable place with many things to see from and visit.
There are many temples and 'mahathhs' to visit, there is a railway station and a ferry ghat.
Very near there are two famous things, gandhi ghat and the barracks in Barrackpore.
There is almost no lodesheddings in months.
The backs are poor construction of roads.

Nice station. Enough place for sitting. Charging spot for mobile is there. Drinking water, toilet is present. Just need more fans during summer and existing fans moves in very low speed.

One of the busiest stations in the Howrah Bardhaman main line. Would do good if a few more galloping locals n a few passenger trains stop here. Food options are rather limited. Has adequate toilet facilities. One saving grace is that the trees in the station still remain and have not been felled in the name of development.

Good station maintained by indian railways many hawker and tea stall present here.All down train comes on platform number 1and2 ,all up trains come on 2and3 ,if you are looking for down train you will get at the first platform but if you are looking for up train so there is trouble.overall good station both side have well roads and transport system toto and rickshaw always available there.
Also good to walk on station rather than walking on road.

This place is sufficient for living place

I am a local resident of rishra the station is quite big.Rishra Railway station is a railway station in Howrah-Bardhaman main line located in the Hooghly district, West Bengal. It serves the town of Rishra and southern part of Serampore town.You can find street food near 3rd no platfrom down the platfrom you can see lot of fastfood center.

We can compare Rishra Station with other Stations because this stations have a large area provided you will get various food stall. According to all the food stall there is a Kachuri and sweets stall in Platform no.:03-04 which is very good in taste and you will get at a cheap rate and serves food the many people.
