Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swami Temple, Vemulawada

Must visit place for history lovers and Temple lovers both. A lot to experience from sculptures to murals, inscriptions and the Gauseva too. We walked around the temple circumbulatory path with a calf who was very happy.

Devotional shrine of lord Shiva, a very famous temple. The temple maintained could have been better. Mobiles are not allowed inside the temple, you need to deposit them in the locker.

The centre point of North Telangana's devotion. Almost everybody visits this shivas temple, called Vemulawada Raja rajeshwara swamy. It has been developing but still needs more facilities and development from the govt. Lot of rush during shivaratri and manageable during other seasons. Kode mokku (offering and tying the younger ox to Shiva) is a special offering here. Neatness can be much better. Dharma gundam has cleaner water now and can be further developed. Drinking water and hand wash areas needs to be increased.

Holy place of lord Shiva , will get good vibes in the temple..but people have to maintain some cleanliness in the temple.. people use to throw coconut pieces in the pond.

Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy Temple, an ancient and famous temple at Vemulavada in Telangana, is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The presiding deity of the temple is locally known as Rajanna. The locals believe that Bhagwan Rajanna fulfills the wishes of devotees when devotees take the ox around the temple.

What to tell about this temple. I like bhemmanna triple than the main temple due to the atmosphere at that temple.

Temple is getting crowded day by day. Temple authority should concentrate on the neatness of the temple. Since we have cows in side the temple not possible for the neatness but still they can try to maintain it neat.

Temple should change urgent..Corrupt administration.. No guidance. Bad smell..No hygiene.. Drainage water..People gathering more..no proper planning .Temple surrounding also not good..Even hotels also loot public money..I am really disappointed..

Vemulawada Raja Rajeswara temple is situated 38 km from Karimnagar. This famous temple dedicated to Lord Rajarajeswara Swamy draws pilgrims in large numbers. Pilgrims have a divine bath in a holy tank called Dharma Gundam, before proceeding for darshan and these holy waters are believed to have medicinal properties. Must visit place

There is no police staff outside temple to manage any uncertain thing

The beauty of this place is there is a Darga inside the temple. Very famous for Lord Shiva and Godess Raja Rajeshwari Devi. You will also find temples of Lord Sri Rama Chandra, Anantha Padmanabha Swamy and a lot of other small temples.

Place is very famous for farmers bringing their ox as an offering Pooja which is a ritual. It was very nice to see that, though I did not get exact details of ritual.

One thing which I felt needs a whole lot of improvement is the way in which temple and its surroundings are maintained. Parking is a major issue. Cleanliness has to improve leaps and bounds. While I can say Govt or Temple Authorities have to be responsible, above all I feel we the pilgrims who visit should equally be responsible towards maintenance of such Devine places.

This is my second visit to this temple after a gap of 4 years and I did not see anything change in its maintenance or surroundings. Hope next visit will be better, if I get to visit again 🤞

Om Namah Shivaaya. This place always gives me peace of mind whenever I happen to visit it. Due to heavy crowds during the festive seasons, There is always congestion and mad rush. If you are planning to visit this this place be prepared mentally on moving along with the crowd and high wait times for the administration of temple always works on war footing basis. Overall not a bad experience for me.

One of the biggest temple of lord Shiva ...no need to take ticket...but 200/- ticket is there for direct visiting Shiva linga but u have to wear our culture clothes like pancha and saree ... usually it takes 30- 45 min for dharshan...

One of the most FAMOUS Lord Shiva (Rajanna) Temple in Vemulawada, Telangana. It is 180 Kms away from Hyderabad very crowded huge number of people come here in every season. Devotees believe that Lord Shiv fulfills his wishes of devotees by doing Kode Mokku, we felt blessed & very pleasent with temple atmosphere, After Darshanam of Rajanna Temple Must visit Baddi Pochamma Temple, and Sri Bheemeshwara Temple.
