Raja Jaichandra Fort

Amazing view here in evening or weather or cool then this place look amazing

Always a wonderful place for me to visit, knowing the history. Proud to visit repeatedly this Kannauj fort built by the great Maharaj Raja Jaychanda .

But sad to see the deteriorating condition of this invaluable heritage, just because of lack of attention by concerned multiple authorities and locality people not keen to keep it clean at least.

The view of the Kannauj City from the fort is amazing. The place should be maintained properly as the forts are pride of Kannauj.

It is very important for people to know history

There are still some remnants of jaichandra fort. And view was very good.

This is good place for tourists especially in rainy season. We can watch the beautiful green ruins of the Jaichandra fort and crafted ancient tombs also watchful here. Just before it a beautiful Sacrosanct place that Gaurishankar Temple which is very ancient and it is said by people ganga used to here every year to Shiva.

Fort has been demolished,now it's only clif. But from here evening view of city and neatest historical temple is very beautiful.

Down the ruins lies the fort.

Place is historical but I have one problem that is our Government , why Government not try to decorate and modified.
