I was impressed with the cleanliness and maintenance of the main railway station in Prayagraj. It's evident that efforts are put into ensuring a tidy environment for travelers. Very neat and clean station with free AC waiting hall on platform 1. Waiting hall is very good and neat and clean. There is shower room also. We visited at 4:45am in morning. The locker room is in platform one. Platform
7-10 are accessible from only middle bridge. Don’t take the last bridge. If you take last bridge, make sure you are getting down on platform 4 and take the middle bridge .

Headquarters of northern East railway. Very clean station campus. 10 plateform and very big area. After kumbh mela, it's become beautiful by decoration. Stairs, ramp, escalator are available for every plateform.

This is main railway station of Holy city Prayagraj. Well connected with all important cities of India. Very spacious and well equipped station. Lots of space for parking and cargo. In central location. Sangam point is 15 minutes by rikshaw. The railways make special arrangements for the huge influx of pilgrims for the Kumbh Mela at this station.

Explore this side of the railway station of Prayagraj after so long time. The railway has upgraded thier infrastructure and it looks more attractive. Spent approximately 4 hours there. Great time.

Prayagraj junction is a big railway station with 10 platforms. Been the Head quarter of North Central Railway, this particular station is well maintained. The station has waiting room, AC waiting room, retiring rooms and toilet facilities. It has all the facilities available that can be expected by the Indian Railways. The platforms are really very neat and clean.

The station is well maintained, clean, and has a good number of eateries. The problem is the distance between less number of staircases to move from one platform to another. One has to walk a lot to get to the staircase which leads to the foot over bridge.
Less number of escalators makes it further difficult to cross platforms. I heard that it is due for a complete overhaul, let's see if these points will be taken care off.

It is the headquarters of the North Central Railway zone. It is located in Allahabad (now Prayagraj) in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

It is one of the cleanest station i have ever seen. The security is so tight inside as well as outside the railway station. Police can be easily spot everywhere. It has total 12 platforms. It has all the modern facilities. To go to different platforms one need not had to take stairs, they have escalator and slating slope path. Yoginath government has really worked on keeping the platform neat and modern.

Now prayagraj junction previously known as Allahabad junction is very famous railway station in uttarpradesh allahabad with 12 platforms and 22 tracks. it's very busy place. each and every train takes stop here and one can travel anywhere in india from here. you will get every kind of facility here like food free wifi ac waiting room and book shop ATM etc. It's one the most neat and clean railway station in India.

We were going to Jaipur by Howrah Jodhpur SF express, our train halted here at Prayagraj Junction. Crossing the huge Yamuna river was worth the experience. Halting time was 5 minutes only. Platforms still undergoing some of construction works. Police constables were under watch all over the platform. There's ample number of food courts present in the platform. Long distance trains passing by.
