A very old Bank in Chatra area, recently it's name has been changed to Punjab National Bank.
The entrance of this bank is very narrow and the place is congested.
No parking available.

Earlier this was a branch office of the United Bank of India. Presently this is a Punjab National Bank branch after the merger of Banks. Although this is a very old and popular bank in the city, after the takeover by PNB, the qualities, nature of public dealings and rules and regulations regarding banking services have drastically degraded in comparison to its earlier state. This bank is adjacent to Serampore Railway station platform no. 1.
