Shri Khandoba Temple

Temple sculpture and architecture is very unique like hemadpanthi. This Khandoba is historical temple which is surrounded by number of hills and all greenery everywhere.
Very clean, silent peaceful atmosphere and situated under big hill and fascinating idol attracts devotees to visit this temple... Overall nice place to visit

I have been living in Sambhajinagar for the last fifteen years, I had heard a lot about this temple but never got the chance to visit it.
A few days ago, I brought my family for darshan..
The restoration work of the temple is going on.
It was a very good feeling when I came here.. very vintage temple and the carving work done on it is very carved and detailed, the God in the core and all the sides inside are made in an amazing way..
I feel very blessed inside..
Definitely visit here when you come to Sambhajinagar...

Very old temple you will find ample places to 4 Wheeler parking.
New Wed couples are visiting this places to get blessings.
In madir floor you will find turmeric powder and people are used to use turmeric for the pooja.
Must visit place.

Old temple near historical city Aurangabad. Originally Hemadpanthi construction rebuilt by Holkar. During Navrati (Margashish shudha paksha pratipada to shaashti) thousands of pilgrimages visits this temple. There is fair during navratri. This ground level temple one deepmal (tower of lights) is in good condition it lights up on many auspicious occasions. You can reach here from Ch. Sambhajinagar railway station by public transport and private operators.

The temple has some rare, undamaged medieval carvings surviving in good state. The masonry of the temple seems to be suffering now, but is a good and a worthwhile visit.

If you are history bug this place is for you. The carvings are intact and alive. The structure is amazing I don't really found any history about the temple but I will surely research on it. Loved the temple. I am obsessed with the carvings.

It is beautiful .old architecture .i m from aurangabad only. ❤ i always visit this place on sundays for pooja . There is festival specialy on dashra n mela in margashirsh / december month on champa shasthi . Malhari martan killed mani nmalla on champa shasthi the asuras on champa shashthi

I visited at evening time place is well lighted and locals are very nice behaviour but there proper parking place is not saw ..

It's to much old God Khanderao temple in Satara Village. God Khanderao is a familiar God of Hindu's. Village roads and temple repairing not develop by village panchayat.

Nice old style Temple. Visit early in the morning to avoid crwod. It is peaceful inside and feels relaxed.
I do not know why would some one put AC's outdoor unit and distroy the classic look of such historic and beautiful architechture? There is a in-built ventilation system in the temple which is blocked by CCTV cables.
Remove this AC, it is not required. (and it is broken also, not working when I was there!)
