It's a must visit if you are in Aurangabad, it's a replica of the Taj Mahal. It's a commemoration of Aurangzeb's wife Dilras banu from her son. ASI charges you around 25 rs per head, and for cameras there is another charge of 25 but not for mobile. The vicinity is beautiful and has many mango trees you will recall Taj Mahal many a times

This is a miniature Taj Mahal land is reasonably impressive. It is worth visiting however is a bit run down and needs some TLC. Clearly it must have been very impressive when built. It is close to the city and cost 300 rupees for entrance.

A must visit when in Aurangabad and it's the younger sister of Taj Mahal. Best time of the day to visit is after 4:45 pm as you can enjoy the climate and it'd open up to 8pm. It's close to Soneri mahal and Aurangabad caves.

It's called the "Mini Taj Mahal". Such an awesome place to visit. We visited it on winter time during Samvaji Nagar (Previously 'Aurangabad') tour.
We started our one day Samvaji Nagar tour from Shirdi by car. It took around 1 hour to see the marvelous art work inside the monument.
If you have already visited Taj Mahal, you will definitely amazed by the resemblance with the original one

Bibi ka Maqbara in Aurangabad is a remarkable architectural marvel that pays homage to the Mughal era's grandeur. Often referred to as the "Taj of the Deccan," this monument stands as a testament to the intricate craftsmanship and aesthetic finesse of its time.

The mausoleum, commissioned by Aurangzeb in memory of his wife, showcases a delicate blend of Persian and Mughal architectural styles. The imposing structure, with its iconic dome and four minarets, mirrors the grace and symmetry reminiscent of the Taj Mahal.

The lush gardens surrounding Bibi ka Maqbara add to the overall ambiance, providing a tranquil setting for visitors to explore and appreciate the historical significance of the site. The intricate detailing on the walls and the exquisite use of marble enhance the elegance of the mausoleum.

While it may not match the grandeur of the Taj Mahal, Bibi ka Maqbara captivates with its own unique charm, making it an essential stop for history enthusiasts and admirers of architectural beauty. The site offers a rich historical experience, and the well-maintained surroundings ensure a memorable visit.

If you have seen the real Taj Mahal, you will realise what an awesome copy this is of the original. Of course, don't expect it to be anything close to the original, but then the efforts of Aurangzeb can not be written off.

Pro tip - visit this place in the night. It's very well lit up and beautiful.

A very good spot for, family friends to refresh their stressful brains. Even though its is historical I request the Hon. Gov. to keep it clean and dry grass free. It really makes the monument dull. Also please make those RFID tokens work as per the system.

Built for Aurangzeb's bibi by his son, and built as a tribute to the Taj Mahal, you can consider this as a mini Taj Mahal. Very very similar but on a much smaller scale both in size, grandeur and opulence. Unlike the Taj Mahal, this would not have resulted in the kingdom going bankrupt.

A duplicate of Taj Mahal. It was designed by the son of architect who supervised construction of Taj Mahal. Due to monetary restrictions the son of Aurangjeb ordered duplicate monument in memory of his mother and first wife of his father. Called Taj of Deccan
