Backpacker's Nest Hotel

Good hostel, great location (10 minutes walking from the Golden Temple), staff very kind and went out of their way to help us getting a taxi to reach wagah border, and to get to the bus station when we had to leave. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. very efficient and easy communication. Would come back.

Conveniently located. A 10-15 minute stroll takes you past the Partition Museum, Heritage Street and Golden Temple, which are all along the same stretch of road. The family room we took was clean and very spacious.

Special mention to Ms Manju who was most helpful and informative throughout our stay. She made us feel very welcome!

The manager lady manju diidi is very polite and gives the correct information to the tourist..location is supreme all places are very near at walking distance the food places like brothers dhaba partition museum golden temple..the rooms are also clean..!

Comfortable dormitory beds with clean washroom facilities. Service was available 24x7 and responded quickly to my needs.

Also at a walkable distance from Golden Temple, Partition Museum, etc. and plenty of rickshaws/share autos to Wagha Border.

I had a great stay here. Arrived tired and lost, without a place to sleep in Amritsar. Was welcomed and shown my place in the dorm. Ended up staying two nights.

Location couldn't be better. Bunk beds are excellent, with curtains, dedicated reading lights and power plugs. Very quiet during the night, offered perfect sleeping. Common areas are great, with huge tables to work and eat and a carpeted area to relax.

I would just wish that staff was quieter specially in the evening.

Owner is super nice and got me a ride to the border for an excellent price in no time.

Highly recommended for the stay in the fascinating Amritsar.

Everything with my stay there was beautiful. The dorm was clean and spacious enough. Their services were all good. As a solo female traveler, I didn't have any issues with my safety or discomfort. The best part is the location. The partition museum is just on the walking distance.

Hotel is located 10 mins walk from Golden temple and very near shops and resturants. The manager Manju ji took care of us very nicely. She is friendly and has good sense of humour, we would like to stay again in our next trip.

We arrived in Amritsar a few days ago and the service we received from the hostel was impeccable. The manager, Manju aunty helped us with all of our needs and helped us plan our days in Amritsar. She is magnificent! Also, the hotel is located 10 min walk from the Harmandir Sahib and near lots of good restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed in the backpakers nest for 5 nights with our two daughters. We had the best stay ever. Manju was so helpful with tips on where to eat, organizing a cab or tuktuk when we needed and every request we had.
The location is great! walking distance from the golden temple and yet far enough, close to markets and restaurants. I highly recommend staying there.

The room was really nice and location is nearby the golden temple . More than anything the staff was really helpful and welcoming.the hotel manager was polite and very helpful. I had a wonderful experience and will recommend it to others

Manju has been an amazing host. Our train got canceled and she accommodate us by making an exception understanding our situation. Hotel has all possible needs required. And location is best, just a walking distance from Amritsar Heritage area.

I would recommend this place for a backpacker. The location is best. Rent is cheaper. The owner is kind and helpful. I was having fever and could not get up from my bed on second day. The owner got me the medicine and food. It was a nice gesture. Only thing is this place is in the basement and the walls are transparent. But there are curtains around your bunk bed so you get the privacy. They give lockers to keep your valuables. I had best experience staying here. They have a terrace too where you can sit and relax. The golden temple is in walking distance from here.

Hotel is very good, very neat and clean. Staff is very helpful specially Manju mam. She is very caring and supportive. We came with fily and she helped is to organize our trip and made it more memorial. Thanks for everything.
