Hi! I’m Shibani, I recently had a really positive experience at Vedanta Dental Clinic that I want to talk about.
I came to the clinic with a completely rotten wisdom tooth that needed removal and pain in a nearby molar. We found that the molar needed a root canal.
While working, Dr. Mayank identified that a molar on the other side of the mouth was also damaged and broken. He suggested we check it immediately just in case it can still be saved from a root canal. It was discovered that an unsurfaced wisdom tooth caused the breakage by adding pressure. Dr. Mayank eventually removed the unsurfaced wisdom tooth and did root canals for two molars in front. The molar closer to the unsurfaced wisdom tooth was challenging to save but he did it.
I was not as worried about getting the rotten wisdom tooth removed because just last year Dr. Mayank had extracted one of my wisdom teeth from the lower jaw, and it was a quick and painless process. For the presently rotten wisdom tooth, he extracted it atraumatically, in a way that I did not even need stitches this time, so the postoperative pain was zero! I was so glad. I was, however, extremely scared of having the unsurfaced wisdom tooth removed because I thought I would need lots of stitches afterward which would be very painful. I was almost ready to let it stay there but Dr. Mayank patiently answered all my questions about the consequences of my different choices. He did not try to convince me at all, but plainly and logically allowed me to analyze the situation for myself. Once I decided to have it removed, he told me that there is a chance to even remove this unsurfaced tooth atraumatically and that he would try best to do this. I couldn’t believe it and hoped it would turn out true. It did!! I couldn’t feel a thing.
In both the cases, I did not have to take a single pain killer after tooth extraction.
Since I had already gotten root canals done from Dr. Mayank before, I was not worried about those and as expected, they went smoothly.
I always wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Mayank Nagpal as a dentist and dental surgeon to all my friends for 3 main reasons:
1. He is excellent at his job and is very respectful to patients: I have been going to dentists now and then since I was a teenager, and I am almost 25 now. As I'm getting older, I find myself asking more questions because I'm a naturally skeptical patient. Dr. Mayank is the only dentist I have come to trust so far because he patiently answers all my questions every time, and then executes a painless procedure. With other dentists I have always experienced different levels of infantilization in response to questions, but never with him, even though he is probably the dentist I have asked most questions. I think explaining complex procedures in simple terms is something only those who fully understand them and are confident can do. He does it generously and never avoids it.
2. It is a humanizing dental experience: My dental experience in other places has been somewhat harsh wherein something would be stuck inside my mouth to keep it open, and I can’t move it at will if I am at all uncomfortable- nobody would ask me in the middle of the procedure if there were pain. It is all different, much more humanizing, with Dr. Mayank and his assistant Mr. Deepak. Nothing is stuck inside my mouth to keep it open; Dr. Mayank has enough respect for his patients to trust that they would keep their mouth properly open, and he acknowledges every flinch with concern. Mr. Deepak, his proactive assistant, perceives every need of the patient- whether I need another tissue or Vaseline for the dry corners of my mouth, so they don’t start bleeding.
3. Costing: From a costing viewpoint, there is a lot of transparency about the procedures and materials that he charges for.
In a time when most hospitals and clinics seem to be prioritizing business more than patient care, I am grateful I found Vedanta Dental Clinic, a place that I have come to trust and absolutely vouch for.

Dr. Mayank is incredible. I had multiple issues in my teeth and visiting him since last 2 months. My experience with him is the best one. He’s very understanding and listens to our concerns. Had a wonderful experience at vedanta dental clinic. I had severe pain in my lower teeth. Dr Mayank relieve my pain in my 1st visit. He advised me for implants. I was very scared initially but Dr Mayank did it completely painless. No pain during and after the procedure. He also did multile RCTs and Capping. Thanku Dr Mayank for this comfortable experience. I am a patient with lots of ailments I had a whole in heart and I underwent open heart surgery in 2014 and along with it I also have diabetes, blood pressure, thyroid. Because of diabetes the condition of my teeth were getting worse day by day I always used to have so much pain and infection on every other day whenever I used to go to any dentist no one was ready to do the treatment because me being the heart patient they used to say it's a very risky and complicated case so no one was ready to treat me but by god's grace I got to know about Dr. Mayank and when I visited him he so patiently listened to everything and first time a doctor gave me hope that my treatment can be done he knew exactly how to handle such a risky case and i got to know that in past also he has treated patients with many complicated health conditions this gave me confidence. Went to Vedanta dental clinic for d treatment of multiple issues in my mouth. I was bit scared initially as I had heard that RCTs r painful BUT Dr Mayank did d fabulous job by doing completely painless RCTs in my teeth. He also placed 2 IMPLANT which were also painless..didn't feel d pain of injection also..
