It is an ancient temple, datable to 13th-14th Century A.D. It might be constructed by the Reddy Kings who ruled over this area after the down falls of Eastern Chalukyas. But in later Centuries it is renovated from time to time. It is having Garbhagriha, Antharala and Mukhamandapa. The eastern side is having Raja Gopuram and the sikhra portion is richly decorated with celestial figurines. The top portion of the mandapa is also richly decorated can see the beauty of the temple in the enclosed Photo.
This temple is decorated with paints and the Garbhagrihs is with the Linga with Panavata and Parvathi. The pillars of madapa are also richly carved. In the entrance of the temple there is a Nandi. It may be datable to 13th-14th Century.
