Riverside County Resort Amba Ghat

Resort is situated at very good location. Though it is close to highway but it's very quiet place. Rooms are spacious and very clean. All staff is polite and very co-operative. Food we ordered was very tasty. Surrounding of Resort is neat and clean & well maintained. We enjoyed all adventure activities which are safe and well guided by resort team. Thanks to all members of staff for making our tour memorable.

One of the best resorts we have been to! Rooms are exotic, spacious, beautiful and immaculately maintained. The lawns, the tiny river or canal and the overall place is clean and beautifully maintained. Food options are limited but good. Seevice is at the very best. Must visit once with family and friends, highly recommended.

Would recommend a vacation from Kolhapur, just 65 km away.

Amazing experience of staying at Riverside country resort. The rooms are tastefully decorated, the bed, the bathroom, the furniture, all exclusive. The restaurant, the courteous staff all make the experience memorable. Best wishes for the management to keep it in this state forever.

Experience was good.. Property is too good. Swimming pool needs to be refurbished.. understand that it is still under renovation.. staff is very cooperative and polite... each one gave their best to serve us...
Food was excellent.. the taste n presentation though simple was appreciated by us..

Not to forget the TV mechanic Mr... Amar Patankar did his best to ensure the connection of Tata sky coverage would improve ..while showing No Signal....
But the overall stay was superb.. coz our holiday was toenjoy the scenic beauty with peace n pleasure. Fresh Air.. superr mountain view with river passing by

If there would have been an AC duct in the living room of 1 BR then it could have been more comfortable. Housekeeping Team never pickup the phone & every time we used to request the team at the Reception. Overall, a very fantastic location!!

The view is so beautiful. The property is clean,well-maintained and scenic. The food quality is top-notch. Thank you for the amazing hospitality. My family had a memorable experience. Special thanks to Rajnikanth sir for making us feel at home :)

Lovely place to unwind with family / friends. Hospitable staff, good food, cosy rooms and lots of nearby places to trek/hike. Jungle safari on the top of a Jeep is a thrilling experience.
Please make sure that you don’t carry any plastic in the jungle / throw garbage. It is an extremely sensitive ecological site and we must help preserve it.
It is fun to climb Vishalgadh early in the morning.
Paawan khind( where Bajiprabhu Deshpande fought a valiant battle with the Mughals) is also a nice place.

Stayed in Riverside County resort for couple of days. They have very nice property including chiku plantation. The rooms are specious and clean. Staff is polite. Food is delicious with very good spread for breakfast, lunch as well as dinner. They have most of the outdoor and indoor games including Lawn tennis and cricket. The property has one small river along one side and all the rooms are on the bank of this river only. Resort has installed Burma bridge on that river. We also enjoyed Kayaking which was real fun. They had also arranged live band on one of the eves. Overall we had a great experience and would really recommend it to others.

We visited this place in monsoon and we were so amazed with the property location along with the service they provide. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Dining area is big and have an amazing view of river surrounded with greenery. Service was good. Food was good. You can enjoy live music during dinner time. Must visit place in monsoon!

A perfect choice for nature lovers.Resort is situated near Kavadi river.A beautiful scene of sunset, sunrise and river is available from room balcony . Early morning you feel very cold as cold air blows.

We booked the resort thru Club Mahindra approx. 3 months back. A week before the actual checkin, we were informed that there is a Wedding happening in the resort.. and we may have to opt-in for Room Service instead of the Restaurant.. and there could be some loudspeaker use around.. With some concerns in mind, we went expecting a not-so-good holiday that we had planned in advance for some quiet time for ourselves.
Without an overstatement, this is one of the BEST resort we ever stayed at. The area of the property is HUGE with lot of greenery. and it runs next to a stream of clear water.. There are enough options for kids to be occupied and there is enough quietness for anyone looking for moments of solitude. And the wedding that happened in the resort was happening without any major impact to the stay. In fact, we thoroughly enjoyed watching the proceedings from the sidelines.. The 1 BR rooms were massive with a large balcony overlooking the riverside.. Balconies of all 1 BR rooms are designed to overlook the river.. There are some tents and pool-villas as well in the property.. The Room Service and the quality of food was very good and the prices were reasonable. Moreover, Club Mahindra members getting a discount was a delightful discovery. Rahul from the reception team gave us some good tips of checking out the neighbourhood. We drove up to Pawankhind (a delightful drive 19 kms away) and enjoyed some delicious local food (Mutton Thali with Vade) at a nearby (small) eating joint (The Great Maratha) near the resort.
Overall, while the location of this resort is very convenient (bang on the Ratnagiri Highway), and there are good enough places nearby to visit.. we want to come back for more of the quiet and peaceful surroundings and do some me-time reading, playing music, long walk inside the property with good food and good people around..

Superb place to chill with family , best to make it work a large group . Zip lining , picleball , cricket , badminton , river ride and a few other outdoor activities. Rooms are big and spacious . Theres everything to relax and make best of the vacation . Had a lovely 2 days , hope to come back soon .

Phenomenal Location, decent food and board. Great stopover when driving Mumbai Goa, takes you through Amba Ghat.

The Property is very beautiful. A personal touch by the owners of the property is been given continuously. It's very nicely spread. The Pool villa and tree house rooms are most lavish to stay. Egg curry is one of the best dish which i liked from buffet. Plenty space is been given for kids playing. Beautifully maintained.

For club Mahindra it's was not as appealing as all other properties.However the rooms were spacious and comfortable but definitely needs maintenance both in HK & needs maintenance at the greenary
