The Jorhat ETC Canteen is located at the Eastern Theological College Road nd near the Jorhat Baptist Church, Jorhat-Mariani Road established in 1986.. This place is very popular among the people of Jorhat , Dergaon, Golaghat nd all the Near-by areas, Undoubtedly for the pork only.. They serve fride-rice nd pork of two variant (gravy nd fry).. The gravy is very rich in texture, while the fry one is normal.. They serve the platters with bhoot-jolokia chutny, which is very very hot in taste.. The place is almost crowded with pork lovers nd there is always a wait here, but parking was/is never an issue..

Stayed at the guest house over there for a few days. The food was really great. If you're a student heading there, i highly recommend you stay at their guest house if you want to save some bucks.

If you want boil food, then do visit Jorhat canteen. Apart from boiled chicken and boiled pork, fried chicken is also very tasty. Never had smoked items there, so cant tell about the taste..

The place is very clean and hygienic. Service was quick (may be because i was too early). I tried the smoke pork. It didn't have too much of spices which is good. Highly recommended visit the place to try out for once.
