The temple is very big and the temple area is also very big. Parking is available for vehicles. You can reach the temple by auto rickshaw from Pokharni Phata. The temple area is very clean and well maintained.

Lord Narasimha killed demon Golasura on mountain indriyani and got sapta ganga water here and then manifested a sapta ganga tirth pond behind temple and stayed here in a cave structure. Temple is build on the cave. Entrance to lord Narasimha is into a small cave with only 2-3 people taking darshan at a single time. Also in temple is Narasimha dev and his consort Laxmi Devi's resting place. Also are great devotees of lord Narasimha here -Lord Shivalinga and lord Ganesh . Nice worship of Narasimha. Beutiful kavacham of gold or silver is on lord. To see Abhishek and the full form without kavacham , one shud come 4am around in morning. This place is around 20 kms from Parbhani as well as Gangakhed

Very peaceful place. The prasad lunch was very delicious and free to all. Almost 1500 people enjoyed the lunch. The volunteers served the food with love, affection and respect. Very clean and discipline place. Do help the management to maintain it clean. One can even rest for few hours. Clean and portable water is available. The temple can be approched by a bus, auto or even a train. The train station is near and share autos are available. In a nutshell a must visit place in this region.

Very old and holy temple of lord Shree Laxmi Narsimha. Must visiting place with family. If you are going with your family don't worry there it is availability of accommodation facility with neat and clean rooms.

The presiding Deity, Sri Narasimhadeva, is here with Laxmi Devi, who is situated nearby. While the temple compound is quite large, the Deities’ sanctum (gabhara) is very small — a 3 foot by 4 foot room. The entrance is equally small, and devotees must squat to see the Lord through a 3 foot high entrance. Just as worship of Lord Nrsimhadeva in Kali Yuga requires great diligence, getting His darshan here at Pokharni is also somewhat difficult.
The Nrsimhadeva temple at Pokarni was built approximately a thousand years ago, around 1000 B.C. to 1300 B.C. The construction is in the Hemadpanthi architectural style. It was built by a king whose girl child was cured of blindness. Although the king wanted to move the Nrsimhadeva Deity residing at Bhaktagan village into the new temple, the villagers refused to allow it. Instead, the beautiful two-armed Deity, holding chakra and conch, was installed at Pokharni
