Lion Safari is inside Sri Venkateswara Zoological park. Apart from the entrance ticket to the park, if you wish to take the Safari ride, you need to take another ticket here. As of 2021, the per ticket cost is ₹50. The total ride is about 20 mins. You get to see 2 lions in the open and few caged. As part of the safari, you would also see some White Tigers. Having come so far, it is recommended to take the ride. Specially take the ride when the Sun is not too bright (read: hot). You can get lucky catching a glimpse of the Lions taking a walk or guarding their area.

Definitely try the Lion Safari when you visit the SV Zoo. It's a lifetime experience. They drive us to the lions in a bus. The lions roam freely. They are not kept in cages.🦁 Must try activity when you visit sv zoo💯.

Overal a very nice trip... Good learning for children.... Lion safari, white tigers are best in the safari.... In summer you cant walk all the zoo 5km plus, use your own vehicle as zoo management stopped bttery vehicles due to covid...
