This place oozes out tranquility.
The speciality of this place is if you clap then you will see bubbles in the lake.
There was not a single soul at this spot when we reached. No entry fee.
But you can stay for sometime to enjoy the calmness and serenity of this place

Very beautiful place. The priest told that the bubble is forming because of some gas in the soil. Very interesting. Peacefull.

It was the most wonderful experience i ever had. We didn't know if it was allowed to dip inside the lake, since no information was mentioned but we still did and it was very refreshing. And yes,.one can enjoy the bubbles made when you clap. It was fun.

Abosulte serene !!

Lake is so clear and amazing , bubbles doesn't appear randomly. I felt they fallow a pattern like one side after the another in a anticlockwise.
Temple is situated along side lake is also calm.
Complex is quite big and there was no one when I visited.

Both car and 2 wheelers parking space is available

Its a must visit temple in South Goa. Situated near Netravalli Wildlife Sanctuary which is about 45 kms from Margao. Its a remote area with minimum commercialisation. Area has no network. Set in the middle of a forest, the place is peaceful and beautiful.

The lake actually bubbles due to echo. You can spend some time sitting on the steps and admiring the beauty of the lake amid positive and calm vibrations.

Netravalli wildlife sanctuary which is situated after 1 km from the lake is a must visit. Its a plastic free zone so please be mindful. Entry feea for the sanctuary is Rs 100 for a person. There are many waterfalls inside the sanctuary. Best time to go is during monsoon. Best place for trekking for beginners.

One of the good places to visit in goa as a tourist to this old temple with a lake. the speciality of this lake is that when you clap you get to see lot of bubbles up over the water. Really a wonderful scene to capture the bubbling water like soda water.

Middle of nowhere is this Tample area which has this small pond called Lake. We went in April and still water was there with fishes. We would imagine how lush the place would be in monsoon.
Almost 2 hour drive from Varca beach. Hardly any traffic. Avoid by scooter unless in a group.
Enough parking space. No one was there at temple, may be due to noon time.
Great place to spend a do nothing day.

People relate Goa as a party hub, beaches, shacks, Churches, Portuguese. But there are other import parts to it as well which tell about our ancient India and culture. South Goa is one of the regions of Goa where you find amazing places. Budbud pond (Tali) in Netravali forest range is one of the examples. Entire Netravali belt is very scenic.

This pond resides inside Gopinath Temple. The mysterious thing about this like is that when you clap bubbles come out from the bed of the pond. It’s sound sensitive, perhaps the gas could be methane. There are lots of fishes in the pond.

The road to this temple is very very scenic and you will get it on the way to Netravali waterfall.
So, take some time out, take blessings and enjoy the surroundings.

They say that water actually responds to the sound. But I felt it was due to the algal bloom phenomenon.
Not objecting to the beauty of the place, it was awesome and peaceful off beat chill where you can quickly hangout and leave.

Very peaceful place. There was no crowd at all. I love the drive. Gopinath temple is very nice, pleasant and emanates some good vibes. Bubbling lake is fun to be with kids and family for sure.

For a moment we forgot we were in Goa. It felt like Manali.

First off we visited here in Monsoon and I love South Goa in monsoon. We hired a car and driver from Agonda. It took us an hour to reach the place but the entire journey was ecstatic! As soon as we entered the wild life sanctuary, we met numerous waterfalls and streams running off from the mountains. We halted a couple of times to take pictures. After a little while we entered the ghats with its beautiful curvy roads and turns.

Soon the car took a wide turn and I almost lost my breath for a while looking at the view before me. We were into clouds facing a valley and lush green rain washed mountains. It's hard to describe in words but for a moment it filled me with immense joy. The pictures and videos I have shared don't capture even a nugget of it.

Once we reached the Temple I realized how immense the premise is. There are downwards steps to reach the temple and then lake. Lake may seem covered in algae in pictures but the water was crystal clear with tiny beautiful fishes.

Water continuously bubbles from several spots in the lake. I felt making loud sounds definitely increased the bubbling activity. Which is quite amusing!

We were the only visitors and the entire place was deserted. It felt really calm and magical. If you visit Agonda or anywhere in South Goa this place is a must MUST visit!

This place is totally magical place.
Located in heart of Netravali Village, Shree Krishna tempe with a mysterious bubbling lake locally known as "Budbude Tale". It turns out to be a mystry that when you start clapping your hands the bubbles are seen escaping from this lake. Tiger barbs fishes are seen swimming in this lake. The shree Krishna temple is total peace. All you have to do is just sit inside the temple . Cool place to visit. Open on all days.

Never had seen or heard or imagined about such a pond. It's very exiting to see the bubbles rising from the bottom of the pond by making the sound, which has resulted in getting it's name. It's very very quiet place. The Krishna temple is also very good. When we visited the temple it was almost 6 pm, and nobody was around the place. But it is a must visit place in Goa.

The Bubble Lake or Budbudyanchi Tali is near Govt. High School Netravali in front of Shri Gopinath Temple. You can combine you trip with Savari Waterfall, Mainapi Waterfall. Also you can visit Selaulim Dam on the way. The bubble lake is step well and bubble comes from the water due to vibration. More the vibration and more the number of bubble come from the water... #goa

One word to describe this natural marvel in Netravali is stunning. Lake is a small pond, there are so many fishes in the pond. Also mysterious thing is bubbles which appear at regular intervals. You can just sit over here for hours and enjoy natural beauty. There is Gopinath temple in the compound and you will calm here. Budbud lake is one of the most under-rated places of South Goa

Ultimate peaceful place. Ancient architecture, open space, smells so good (the temple), the water body so clean and crystal clear. The place is just so pretty. There is a little van outside the temple where you can get snacks tea and coffee under a tree. If visiting there keep 20min spare just to sit there and watch the bubbles and fish.
