Gumbadara Viewpoint

Even if luck doesn't grant you a glimpse of the astonishing Mt. Kanchenjunga (as was the case for us), this spot still has much to offer. The lush green tea gardens, the view of the pine forest, and the winding black-pitched road in the valley add their own unique charms.

It's a delightful spot to capture a few travel pictures and stands out as one of the cleanest viewpoints in the area.

Awesome view from the top, the zigzag way of the hill looking too good. You can witness more eye catching views if the weather is clean (not foggy).

Amazing view, in the vally of tea garden and a cold breeze which gives you the feeling of a heavenly circumstances.

Excellent views from this place. You can see the valleys and the mountains. The aroma of tea gardens encompasses the air and the sights can be savored with eyes. It is a must visit place if you are coming to Darjeeling. Most local taximen know about this place and it can be covered when coming to Lamahatta. There are a couple souvenir shops and tea/snack joints here.

This place has got amazing view and on clear days you will get to see the entire Himalayan range with kanchanjunga peak obviously.

Gumbadara View Point is the top part of Peshok Tea Garden. You can experience such lush green vegetation out there. And also you can see both Sikkim and Kalimpong from there.

Picturesque view of lush green tea plantation . Steep inclination though but very beautiful.

Wonderful viewpoint of the hills far away and the road winding to get to the top. Standing in the tea garden and taking in the fresh air is all that you want. The wind is cool and fast. Definitely you should take a stop at this point.

Love place to relax amidst tea garden and perfect valley View. Approach road from lopchu towards the view point is just awesome zigzagging through tea garden. Remember to purchase local plum fruit from the shops at view point.
