Lovely food the restaurant is so good the view from the hotel is such wonderful it's a great cheap hotel love it my opinion ❤

I had a wonderful experience at the Surya Hotel—an excellent property near Mall Road, Shimla. The room was wonderful, clean and the amenities were great. The Staff was accommodating & room service was super quick. Breakfast added to my package was very delicious. Special thanks to hotel manager Mr. Kesar, who arranged all the services/facilities & made our trip hassle-free & very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Shimla.

Kali Bari and Mall road is nearby.....hotel is connected to Mall road by lift....we had complimentary breakfast which was very delicious.....staff has provided very good service...

I stayed one day only. The staff of the hotel very cooperative. They give me early check in as i reached early.(thnx to Mr Lalit and Mr Kesar) Nice room with spacious washroom with hot water. Food was excellent. Mr rati ram also very helpful. Tv ok but remot not working properly.
I would live to visit again. Pl must stay in this hotel. Also elevator excess to mall road.

This is one of the most comforting hotels in Shimla ever known to me .Property is luxurious and warm . Staff takes care of all necessary comforts needed for a memorable trip. Breakfast was given complimentary to us. Food is hygienic and health friendly. Staff is well behaved and kind. Our stay with them is indeed memorable. God bless the team. We wish to stay with them again when we plan a trip.

Beautiful people and great food with beautiful valley view rooms.
The staff is so helpful and polite, always ready with a smile.
Food is amazing and the north Indian is as good as any other competitive restaurant you will find in the North.
The place is about a 10 minute walk from the Ridge.
You can easily find buses right at the main entrance that will drop you right at the Ridge near Lakkad Bazaar.
Right at the entrance is the main road where you will also find many restaurants in case you do not want to eat in the hotel.
The rooms are beautiful and very clean.
Amazing hospitality and amazing hotel at very reasonable rates. Highly recommended.

I love the stay at this place.... Everything is very good. Specially Mr. Amit from reservation department have very friendly nature and help us alot during our stay. Even they provide us the Cab for our trip.

Stayed in family Luxury Room for 3 days. Property is excellent in all respects, room, interiors, cleanliness, staff behaviour, Manager Mr. Lalit/Mr. Amit were all very cooperative and helpful. Buffet breakfast very tasty. Walking distance to mall road, ridge and kali bari temple.

Surya Hotel is well connected to Mall Road.
It’s a nice, economic and well maintained hotel. Staff is polite, food is good. Overall had a pleasant experience with family stay! I’ll recommend Surya hotel for stay for sure!

Kesar Mehta arranged the Taxi from Hotel at nominal rates(same as market rates) for Kufri and Jakoo Temple.
Hotel is well managed and maintained by staff .

Hi... Am baby.. Coming from taminadu... I come to Simla yesterday... I chose to stay in hotel surya in Simla... Its a 3 star hotel...but its loo lie a5 star ambience.. Price is also good as compare to other resort's in the area.
We are couple of friends
And they arranged us bone fire and music for complimentary.
We love the party and ambience.
If you are nature lover and liking for good view must recommend this.

Good vacation stay with family, friends etc. Hotel at a good location close to Mall Road, rather backside of the hotel has a direct access to the same. A busy hotel roadside with other utilities nearby. The hotel has good spacious, hygienic rooms with aesthetic decor, infrastructure and other amenities available at a good pricing. Since visiting this hotel for the 3rd time with family, I feel better renovation, upgradation of facilities, decor is the need of the hour and upholstery also requires to be of high quality and standards. Staff is polite, humble and cooperative towards our requirements/ services. The rooftop restaurant with a good ambience, picturesque view gallery along with delicious ,quality food, breakfast and other sumptuous meals is the best part in the hotel. Certainly a good recommended hotel worth a stay for every age and the hotel management is requested to overcome the minor requisites for betterment.
