Hide Out Cafe

Walking through Mall Road in Shimla, I found this cozy cafe that became my favorite spot for a delicious latte during evening strolls. The experience was so enjoyable that I visited multiple times during my stay. The staff was friendly, and I highly recommend trying their tasty Apple Pie. It's more than a cafe; it's a warm and memorable part of my Shimla visit.

Wow! Amazing food taste and service. Anju is very polite and is ready to serve your requests. Near to the Ridge and the view from the restaurant is nice.

Shimla has many cafes, but this one, right next to Gaiety and Town Hall, is brilliant. The food is exquisite and the place is small but magical. It has great sandwiches, and the apple pie is one of the best I have had (and I have had it in many places in Europe). Service was great. The young lady who served us was polite and extremely helpful.

So this cafe is situated on the mall road, right next to the Gaiety theater.

The view is really good as you can see the hustle and bustle of the crowd down under.

They have a bakery in the lower floor where u can get cake and other sweet desserts.

They have seating area on the 1st floor. The sitting seemed a bit cramped but wasn't that bad.

We ordered a Pizza, Fries, Pasta and some coke.

The food arrived shortly and it was delicious. Although the serving size for pasta could've have been bigger. Considering it was almost 400 bucks.

Overall a meal for 4 people cost us 1100 bucks. Which isn't bad.

The cafe is Good and I usually dine here when I'm on the mall.

The food is delicious no doubt but the staff over here are so polite , nice and the smile on there face made my day. Specially anju thakur she is so kind and hardworking .

Absolutely loved the cafe!! They are very soft spoken and helpful. Loved the white sauce pasta, tomato soup, apple pie and ginger lemon tea. Must try if you are missing some good food!?

They serve decent food here and the quantity is nice. Staffs are quick, always smiling and ready to help. The location is a plus point of this place.

Such a cute cafe.
I spent nearly four hours here, sitting, enjoying some really lip-smacking meals and working.
I had tried coffee, chilli potato, aloo paratha, paneer paratha with curd. The staff is cordial and very helpful. It's a wonderful option within your budget if you are around.
I actually needed a calm place for working and this cafe was my best pick.

Located right on the Mall Road, this cafe has recently expanded into two outlets closeby. Good variety of food, reasonably priced and well defined portions of food. Whenever we visit Shimla, we make it a point to eat here. While eating you also can enjoy the view of mall road from the window seats on the Ist floor. Noodles, manchurian, pasta, variety of sandwiches (veg and non veg) and now indian mughlai dishes...they have it all. The Bakery desserts are also good especially the apple pie (don't miss it at any cost). Best thing about the cafe apart from food is its cleanliness. The toilets were also kept sparkling clean (which is hardly seen in tourist places). The staff is very courteous and attended to all our needs immediately. A must place to visit if you want to eat good food with good view too.

Long story short.. you gotta try this out. excellent service, great food quality. we ordered
Tandoori chicken pizza,
Mushroom noodles,
Shirley temple
Cold coffee without ice cream.
One word . one of the best food we have ever had outside home. While eating we also checked foods of other tables as well (wink !) all looked yummy.Regarding price its bit on upper side but I am sure you won't feel any hiccup to pay anything for what you just have.

Food is delicious

Small but worth visit place. Staff was polite and wear smile, welcomes you with a heart warming namaste.
Food was delicious, tried vegetable garden pizza and mix sauce pasta with virgin mojito food quantity was really good might take some time to get you prepared but it's worth waiting

Did a 20 minutes walk in search of this cafe and it was all worth it at the end. One of the best places to eat at mall road shimla. The staff was unbelievably polite, food was delicious, the drinks we're refreshing and service was quick. We had a red sauce pasta and waffles and that pasta was as delicious as it can get. They deserve every bit of appreciation. Special mentions to how clean and maintained was their washroom.

Visited Hideout Cafe in Shimla, and had a delightful experience. We ordered the English breakfast, waffles, and cafe latte – everything was excellent. A satisfying visit with good food!

A nice small cafe in the middle of Beautiful Mall road of shimla.Tried the Choco Chip pastry and it was delicious and soft.The price of ₹80 was a bit on the higher side but considering the shop on mall road, it was ok.The staff was polite and had a smile on the their face. Recommended !!
