Vandri Lake

Nice place to sit and relax with family and friends. It's a nice place to explore especially in the rainy season It's very cool and pleasant. Families, friends, couples anyone can come. The ambiance and vibes are cool. A fantastic place to go on any time during week. Flow of water is best and the dam is currently overflowing.

Calm, soothing and lively place. Nature's best kept secret. It is advised, personal transport lekar Jana hi behtar hai.. ST bus ka timing nahi hai pakka kuch. Aur the road as well is Scenic

Beautiful place to visit with your friends and family. Better to go during rainy season.
View is absolutely amazing 🤩. Every Photo that you will take will be beautiful.
Its a good picnic spot. Lot of people bought mats with them and had lunch parties.
There is also a stream of water where you can go and chill.
Going into into the lake is very risky so please avoid that.
Its not that famous so it's not the crowded as other spots are.
Overall a great place to visit.

Visited this place to witness sunrise. The place is very peaceful and makes you feel attached to the nature. Greenery and birds chirping was so soothing. A great place to relax.

PS: People visiting here please do not litter the place. Keep this place clean and dont throw things here.

Reach by 6 a.m. to witness a beautiful sunrise. Very nice, peaceful place. Carry your own water and food. Don't get misguided; ask the locals for the perfect Sunrise spot.

There is a very specific place to visit the beautiful sunrise; otherwise, you'll land on a different side of the lake, and from there, the sunrise will not be that visible.

Often, Movie shoots happen in that area, so make sure to reach early to witness the beauty, or else the shoot people won't allow you to enter.

Vandri Lake is in Palghar. The road conditions are good and it's very beautiful in the rainy season. We visited on Sunday at noon. No crowd that time. It is a very beautiful place to visit with family or friends. Just the one thing that no snacks shops or any other shops are available near the lake. It's a village area. So if you want to eat something you should bring these with yourself. At the time of returning we saw one shop selling Vadapav with home made chutney. We ate it and the taste is too good. I think from the lake point shop is nearly 20min far away.

Try reaching the lake just an hour before the sunrise and you’ll see the best sunrise near Mumbai. We reached around 5am and walked all the way through ahead to get a closer view. Wouldn’t recommend taking a dip as the pebbles in the lake are slippery with sharp stones. Although you can sit along the lake with your feet dipped. And lastly don’t litter the place 🫠

I have heard about this place from my many friends. This is place beautiful and recommend for camping. After hearing lots of things from my friends I decided visit this place with my finance. We never went on long bike ride so this was our chance.

We visited this place on Sunday morning, we went there by following Google maps directions. It was very easy to locate the place but we were first to reach there it was impossible to decide where to stop so we can got to lake.

Finally after lots of exploring we found the place, we enjoyed sunrise together. Clicked lots of good spend and spend quality time together.

Loved looking at the rising sun over the placid lake and later soaking in the water on the other side of the reservoir.

Best to go during monsoon. Try going little ahead of the lake and you will find mesmerizing landscapes.

What a serene place admist the nature. Just what a tired Mumbaikar would want on a weekend. Surrounded by Green hills, it is a sight to behold.

You will love the peace there. The view is very scenic. Keep travelling by the road by the boundries of lake and you will reach Jayshet village. A very small village with beautiful people and kids. Adding a few pictures of Jayshet where we had a lot of fun.

Must visit during Monsoons!

Best time to go during monsoon. I went there last year. Best soothing place and a great road trip ❤

Location : Available on Google Maps

Place : Must visit place in MH, best for Sunday Rides/Drive, 1 day picnic, Natural beauty of the lake, greenery & mountains.

Best time to visit : Winters or Rains, Early morning to experience the sunrise, avoid going in late evenings.

Food & Drinks : Carry your own snacks & water while travelling here & please do not litter the place, always use a trash bin or carry a waste bag along.

Word Of Caution : This area is situated within a village, though the villagers are quiet helpful, do not mess around or argue with them (Adivasi Tribes) as you could get into some serious trouble. Do not litter the place. Carry all your vehicle documents, wear a helmet if riding or wear a seatbelt if driving as the cops near the toll plaza tend to stop you on your way back from Vandri lake, especially on weekends. Maintain discipline at all times, enjoy the natural scenes & beauty of nature & click pictures & make some great memories.

Best visiting season is monsoon. Easiest reach from Ahmedabad highway with very nice connecting roads to lake. The best location at this lake is going inside the green place in the middle. But you can reach there only going by "taaron ke niche se" like Bajrangi bhaijaan and Munni😃😃😃

This lake has its own mesmerizing experience.
Very good for Photo shoots.
This spot is amazing to escape from the city chaos.
The best part is very very few people like 5-10 max.

Would suggest to bring a vehicle.
The views are amazing.

You should go early in the morning or during sunset hours to see the sunrise or sunset it's just amazing.
