Very good place. Please hire a guide and use their telescope to see the birds otherwise you won’t enjoy it. Guides are knowledgeable and good.
Name of our guide was Roshan.
Recommended season is monsoon (Shravan period) it is the breeding season so the birds are very colourful and vibrant.
Good place do visit and contribute.
The place also has canteen services offering poha zunka bhakar, Bharit etc.

Very well managed by the government.

Place is just an hour drive from Nasik city. Google map location is accurate.

Best time to visit - Dec/Jan month

Entry fee ₹30.

The good thing is they provide binoculars at ₹100/hour.

Parking space is enough.

Nandur Madhyameshwar Bird Sanctuary is one of the finest bird sanctuary in Nandur Madhyameshwar district in Nashik, it is the habitat for variety of bird species that migrate during seasonal changes, here, you can view variety of birds, there are sign boards are information regarding each bird as you explore inside the sanctuary.

You can carry your cameras along with you for photoshoot. Also, parking space is provided for visitors as well.

The staff also provides you with binoculars for better viewing experience with small additional charge also I highly recommend you to carry one while visiting this place for better experience.

Highly recommended:-
1) Carry Binoculars
2) For best experience visit this place in between summer and starting of monsoon season.

It's very Nice and beautiful Bird Sanctuary surrounded with a beautiful nature in Maharashtra. I would suggest everyone should see it once or as per their convenience. You can stay here with proper booking and charges are ₹1200 including your breakfast, lunch, dinner with guide. If your thinking for one day short trip so definitely it's very good choice. Binoculars and telescopes are available with guide also. So watch it and enjoy it.

1 hour drive from Nashik City
Last 2km Road to the sanctuary not good
Secluded location

Recently grabbed eyeballs as it was declared a wetland of international importance under the ramsar convention

Best time to visit is between December and January when you will get to spot all the migratory birds in their full glory

Binoculars recommend as the birds are very far from the observation deck and it's next to impossible to spot them with your naked eye
(You can even rent one inside the park for 100rs)
Guide available to give you information about the various birds seen

This place is a must visit
I have earlier visited couple of other bird sanctuaries too but this one was the best since I actually got to see many unique birds

Peaceful place, dedicated observatory to spot the birds

Restroom/snacking/parking facility available with the sanctuary premises

Visit early morning for a more fruitful memory

A perfect place for bird lovers/ enthusiasts. The climate and ecosystem in the area serves as a perfect habitat for local and some foreign/ migrating birds. The best period to visit and sight birds is from November to February, most likely to sight foreign birds in post monsoon season. The greater Flamingo bird is the main attraction, however you can see many types of unique and common birds here in abundance. Visit early morning for less disturbance of crowd (mostly on weekends) which may disturb birds and make them fly away.
Major tip - carry a good camera equipped with bigger lens(just in case you wish to click these beauties), as birds are often far from observation towers. There are many good quality binoculars available at the office which can be rented at very affordable rates. Also villagers from nearby vicinity run canteens here, so tea, breakfast and water is easily available now (carry some small denomination cash, it might get difficult to get change of bigger denomination here).
You have few fees to be paid here, - parking, entry, guide (if you avail one), binoculars, camera(if you carry one), etc. The office accepts cash and also have swipe/ pos machine at entrance for the collection of fees. Do carry your Photo IDs alongside, you may be asked to keep original ìds as security against binoculars.
The place also has a provision to stay overnight with limited rooms by forest department.
There are few good observation towers, consult with the forest officer at the entrance first for better sightings during that period.

A superb spot for nature lovers everyone should try the place if you're interested.
The guide give you a valuable amt of information and the prices are minimal.
300 for guide and 300 for the equipments.
It was quite and only one family was with us so it was totally worth it.
Dont go in heavy seasons you should visit when no one will...

5 Star is for the place and birds, it's worth visit. Guide is must if you don't know the bird species and also the guide will provide all the necessary info and equipments to help you spot the birds. One need to carry food and water bottles here as there are no shops around. Authorities needs to build proper toilets and make water available. Approach road is not that great, they need to make better roads and services to attract more crowd.

Excellent place. Good for birdwatchers. If you are new to Birding, the four watch towers visible from the main entrance will be enough. If you want to a have serious Birding session and visiting the place for first time, do hire a guide as he will take you to some nice trails and you can see Cranes from a bit closer. Do visit the Rest House facility near Dam to see the flycatchers and some other birds.

Amazing Wetland with good bird diversity and trails. The park opens around sunrise and promises good sightings of Warblers and Cranes. You may hire a local NaturalisT/guide who may accompany you for bird watching or will provide you with their spotting scope. Rarities like White-tailed Eagle, Rosy Pipit, Moustached Warbler, Spotted Crake and Water Rail. The canteen serves delicious food and fresh fruit juice are also available.

Nice place .It was treat for Bird lovers to watch local and migratory birds in great number. Very well managed place, quite huge with good facility for parking two wheeler as well as four wheeler. There is office near entry gate from there you will have your tickets . Entry ticket cost very low i.e for child age 6 to 12 cost 15 rupee. And adult cost 30 rupee.
Green and calm place better to visit this place in the hours of morning around 5:30 -6:00 am . There are Watch towers from where one can enjoy watching flocks of many birds in natural habitat . Since birds are quite far distance so one must have Binocular to watch Bird propearly ( forest guards also provide you binoculars on watch tower but in crowded hours we can't kept binocular with us for more than 15 minutes so, it's better to carry your own) .
Try to visit this place in month of December- February as these are peak months when migratory Bird were sighted . I visited this place early in December in hope of Greater Flemingo and Eurasian spoonbill sighting but forest Guard told that Flemingo and spoonbill came in late December or in early January . Don't visit place in off season month for Bird watching you may get disappointed as a there is chance of very few Birds observe.
If you plan tour for more than one day then staying facilities were also good they have small rooms at various small villages nearby Dam area . We use to stay at Khangaon Thadi where they have Small Nature Interpretation centre , Bird museum and they show nice video clip about Birds sighted at Nandur Madhymeshwar Santuary .

Awesome place !! A must see along with your family and friends. But there is a timeline since this is a good spot for migratory Birds watchers. December till mid February is good. Nevertheless you can enjoy the serene nature any time of the year.

Visited the place hoping to watch birds and returned back with loads of pictures of so many species of migratory and local birds, hoards of knowledge and knowing the site is in great hands of some dedicated volunteers who are committed to making us want to return. We needs to support these volunteers working with Amol Darade. They have tent Accomodation near the entrance so an overnight stay to watch the sunrise is possible. There is a car park and guides can arrange telescopes and cameras at nominal rates. The guides are very knowledgeable and a must to have with you to truly enjoy the sighting
