Ticket is very expensive, one whole day is required to complete the tour.
Don't buy gem stones from here, they are all fake and overpriced.
Dolphins are very rarely sighted.
Not recommended if you have less days in your itinerary.

It was an amazing spot worth visiting at the evening or morning golden period time. Beach is so clean there that you could not find anywhere else in Odisha.
Also take advantage of the golden light and migrating birds in the sky. Boating is fun activity watching sunset, birds flying and fishes jumping in the lake.
Always take care of your safety first. Life jackets must wear while taking boat ride as there were so many previous incidents in the lake.

Satapada is one of the most popular tourist place of Odisha. Irrawady Dolphins are major attraction of Satapada. Apart from that the scenic of Sea Mouth, Islands like Nalabana, Honeymoon, Breakfast & Rajhans attract large number of tourists throughout the year. It has the second largest congregation of migratory Birds in the world after Lake Victoria in Africa. It is the largest wintering ground for migratory birds on the Indian sub-continent. In Winter the migratory birds come from as far as the Caspian Sea, Lake Baikal, Aral Sea and other parts of Russia, Kirghiz Steppes of Mangolia, Central& South-East-Asia, Ladakh and the Himalayas. Cruise in Chilika at Satapada is interesting.

Sooooo nice..after doing the boat ride for 2Hrs reach the picnic spot,then mouth watering lobster in meals and then camping..wat can be better than this.on the triangle of chilka lake and sea, just wow.. can't explain in words 😍

You will get to see dolphins and sea shells from which pearls and many other stones we obtain and you can buy those from them in less than the market price. It will take 4- 5 hrs for exploring that huge area.

Boating, dolphins in sea and red crabe, but safe your self to buy Pearl and sand precious stone it's fake I am not sure but cheated so be aware of the thing noted here

Ahh this place prawn and crab is so good taste ....and the best part after eating do go to the end of the island u will be surprised with big waves of the sea shore and the sunset

The place is on the bank of Chillka Lake. So anyone who visit this place can also have ride at the lake. One can see the mouth of the sea from there. Fresh fish is available there to eat. Famous red crabs are there to see. Other small crabs are also seen at the beach. Some people are there to show and sell the stones of seashells.
