Just the foot of the hill.. Through here you can visit kurseong, darjeeling and dao hills, shivakhola, although not the shortest route to kurseong or darjeeling the views of mountains and the journey itself is just amazing like never before, I enjoyed this journey better than the road through Rohini or Pankhabari

It's always pleasure to visit sukna. Very beautiful place and weather is amazing too. It's a connecting point to Kurseong and Darjeeling. A lot of greenery here and small forest like place here to visit. Also it has momo and Taipo shops to enjoy and feel great after having them hot. People are amazing and hospitable too. A great place and amazingly beautiful place to be.

One of the oldest and well maintained Toy train station at foothill of Darjeeling. The Sukna station went through multiple modifications and alterations during last 139 years of its continuous service. This is a Island station having Hill cart road at one side and 610 mm wide narrow gauge track at other side. Double storied station has a museum as well with nice collection of old railways photographs and spiral staircase which leads you to the upper floor.
