Nice place to hang out close to nature. It will need 1 - 2 Hr to round up if not going for planned long stay. Cottage to stay overnight available. To view sunset or sunrise, one should go accordingly at morning to evening. It's a journey of abt 1 hr from Agartala

Very nice place, good outing hangout spot out of City. Food is awesome, make sure you order as early as possible and then roam, while.food will get cooked.

Bash Gram at Katlamara in the West Tripura district of Tripura is a picturesque theme park crafted with natural bamboo and bamboo trees. It is almost 35 kilometres from the capital city of Agartala and is located at Simna under the Mohanpur Subdivision.
It has beautiful cottages that can be booked for overnight stays. There are beautifully crafted shades of bamboo - both on land as well as water bodies. The biodiversity of the place is well preserved around bamboo trees and a lake fully covered with lotus.
The restaurant inside the park serves freshly cooked food, which includes both vegetarian and non-vegetarian items. But one must wait as it takes a bit of time for preparation.
Bamboo furniture is also sold at the park at very reasonable prices. Last but not the least, the organizing team also runs a school inside the village that houses the park.

This is one of the best places I have visited which is so near to the city. Perfect for a day trip. I loved the concept of promoting ecotourism and people, a must visit for all nature lovers. There is a restaurant which serves delicious thalis at a very reasonable price. There is an entry fee which I feel is okay considering they have maintained the place really well.

All bamboo work is very nice and this place is tourist place in Tripura.

Bashgram (Bamboo village) is developed to promote  eco tourism in Tripura. Its a 1 and half hour drive from Agartala. The main feature of this place is everything is made out of bamboo (cottages, pathways, bridges, restaurant, seating area in the park etc)
I went there for the first time with my family to celebrate our fifth wedding anniversary and I was mesmerized by its beauty.
Entry fee is Rs 100 per person which allows you the access to the park along with complimentary tea, water and biscuits.
There is a restaurant inside the park with outdoor seating option which is really beautiful.
They also offer Bamboo cottages as accommodation inside the park.
If you love greenery,peace and tranquility this is a perfect place for you

Its a pretty amazing place if you want to spend the day with your friends and family but dont wanna go too far from the city. There is a restaurant, and there are resting places too. Scenic beauty is mesmerizing and they offer free tea and biscuits. Ambience is great.

If you are someone who loves & appreciates nature then you will love it. Very well maintained property, nice location in the midst of tea garden. You can enjoy with family and Yes, the feed is also good.

Awesome place for a quick tour. I heard many rumors about it being a very costly place. But I think it's quite at a reasonable price. Although the entry fee is ₹100 but they provide complimentary tea, biscuits and a water bottle with it. Even the restaurant 'Ahaaram' has very good food.
