University ia very good but thare are no such thing i.e garden..lots of land unusefull.. University ground was good its huge due to out area hostels are good expect one i.e charak hostel..
If you want to reach here then took rikshaw from jesis chauraha and get down in kotwali and took another rikshaw and you reach the destination in other way if you are at railway station bhandari take rickshaw and took down kotawali and same procedure..
One thing you have to noticed that please avoid to come here in evening time bcoz no other vechile you found to reach here...

Purvanchal University, Jaunpur renamed as Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University (in the honour of late Shri Veer Bahadur Singh, former Chief Minister of the state), was established on 2nd October 1987 as an affiliating university under U.P. state university act 1973. Continuous qualitative and quantitative growth, excellence in academic and administrative activities, transparent and efficient academic administration have been some of the distinct characteristics on the basis of which the university emerged as one of the leading university of the country. Started with the 68 affiliated colleges, the university now has widened it’s spectrum of activities with 367 affiliated graduate and post-graduate colleges and students enrollment of nearly three lacs and eighty thousand in 5 Districts of Eastern Uttar Pradesh.

The university is located at 10 km from the historic city of Jaunpur on Jaunpur-Shahganj road which divides it’s 171.5 acres campus into two. Jaunpur is well connected by Rail, Road and Air ways with other States.The infrastructure development, achievement of academic excellence, quality assurance in the higher education and socio-economic development of this highly backward & rural region of Eastern Uttar Pradesh are some of the priority areas for which the university is putting its best efforts.

Very good university. Very talented faculty. Alumni list is awesome. Students are very good. Only bad thing is very strict marking process. If you have done everything correct in your semester exams, even then you will get only around 60-70 out of 100. That disappoints student but other than that great place to learn.

I was doing B.Tech from Lucknow University in Lucknow, except that I took admission in it, so you can understand by myself that I have experience in Lucknow vs jaunpur Also no less than Lucknow…I am talking about myself here and to tell the truth, there is a very good study environment here, the staff here is very supportive. There is no problem here and no shortage of any thing

Education is quite better than other colleges in Jaunpur. Its a government University so you will get all your fees back in the scholarship. And don't know much about its infrastructure.
