State of the art infrastructure, abundance of space, easy to find location, modern amenities are some of the attributes for a first time visitor. Can't comment on anything regarding the quality of treatment it offers at this moment. But overall any patients from upper Assam areas may have cancer treatment right here.

Beautifully conceived and constructed (yet to be fully completed) under Assam Cancer Care Foundation. It's category is L2 Max - having a capacity of 180 beds, once fully functional. Ground and First floors construction completed, other floors - work is under progress.
Should definitely prove to be a boon to the people of this region.

Usually Cancer care facilities in India are concentrated in big cities which forces patients to travel to these centres, bearing high cost, often unaffordable for many. Tata Trusts’ Distributed Cancer Care Model (DCCM) eliminates these handicaps, & makes world-class treatment accessible, closer to where patients live, and, therefore, affordable.

This would be a unique initiative where state health infrastructure gets ultimately augmented with 10 MRI, 10 CT Scans, 10 Linear accelerators, 4 blood component labs, 10 automated laboratories, and 4 PET scans. This will help even non-cancer patients to access sophisticated diagnostic capabilities at affordable cost.

Assam Cancer Care Foundation is a joint partnership between the Government of Assam and Tata Trusts. It was set up in December 2017 to create a first-of-its-kind, three-level cancer grid in the state. The distributed care model was conceptualised by the Trusts and the Government of Assam to create patient-centric cancer institutions to deliver standardised and affordable care closer to patients' homes. The foundation is expected to benefit 50% of cancer patients in Assam.

Dibrugarh Cancer Centre established under Assam Cancer Care Foundation, a not-for-profit joint venture between Govt. of Assam and the Tata Trusts.
The centre at Dibrugarh is part of 17 medical facilities being developed by ACCF, of which seven were inaugurated by the PM during his visit along with the chairman of Tata Group Mr Ratan Naval Tata.
