Sri Bala Balaji Swamy Vari Devasthanam

Nice experience. Bala Balaji is very famous in these parts of the state. Well maintained. AP Endowments Department,which maintains this temple is charging Rs.25.00 for Darshan which is quite high.

Appanapalli sri Bala Balaji temple is the only temple in Ap,where people has belife that God(Balaji) was found inside a coconut to a person(a devotee of Venkateswara).People offer 7 saturdays prayer as God will fulfill their wishes without any doubt.......

Bala balaji temple is also called as Konaseema Tirupathi. Which is very famous temple in Godavari Districts. Here the Lord's Idol was found in Coconut Shell. Till today, those idols are worshipping under thatched house. A huge temple was constructed recently. Annadanam is held daily from 9AM to 11 PM daily without fail from 1977. Temple is located on Bank of Godavari river.

(Visited in November 2019) - Impressive temple always teeming with people. Also famous for the annual fair & a tasty gum like sweet. Do not visit during heavy rains as these low lying areas get partially submerged due to the flood waters of River Godavari. Free meals i.e Nitya Annadanam facility is available...

Very prominent place, good to go with family. Located in konasemma district near by Amalapuram. The ride, especially before 5kms from temple (after high way) was narrow (little difficult if any other vehicle comes in opposite direction) but view and greenery was very good. Both old temple and new temple are situated in same area (walkable). Bananas and coconuts, bangles etc will come at a cheaper price. With extra fare, Garbha Gudi darshan is available. Upon walking 2-3min, Godavari river is there where devotees can have a dip and bath, separate rooms are available for dress change.
