The good elevation of the theatre lost after the Metro station building.

The theatre itself is quite old but it is modified with the Onyx LED screen by Samsung, it is basically like a huge LED TV and it is simply incredible, the brightness and the contrast is on a different level compared to any other standard projection screen.
The sound in the cinema is Dolby Atmos and it is quite good, you can really hear the sounds from all around you.
While booking tickets online I would suggest you to check carefully and not book too far behind and I would not sit on the balcony either, the screen looks pretty small from the balcony, but from the lower level it is simply too good.
A cherry on top is this is cinema is one of the cheapest in the city also so it is a no brainer to go here.
They have some parking available on premises but it’s best if you can take metro since jt is within walking distance from MG road metro station

Situated near the main road. Able of space is there for parking and in front of theatre. If you are person who like to have the vibe of FDFS, then this will be a good choice. Seats, screen quality and audio quality is good. But toilet is very small and there is a long queue. Only 3 can use the toilet at the time.

Good place to watch any movies with a led screen here. Tried the lounge seats in front row for the first time. It’s was quite comfortable and good, to be honest. Actually it’s one of the game changer in the theatre industry to fill the first row by providing lounge seats at the front row.

The screen quality is excellent, crystal clear picture, bright colors, black colour looks sharp unlike other theatres which look grey.
The sound quality I will say is not like Dolby Atmos but it's good enough because the picture quality you get here is top notch.

The theatre is huuuugeee! Close to 40-50 rows of seats. It is an experience watching movies here, on the big screen. The hall will give you a feel of drama theater halls with a stall and balcony seating. But it’s worth watching here.

Watching 3D movies here is a delight, it’s on par with imax 3d immersion, by that I mean the depth and brightness is on par.

Screen size is small but quality over quantity I guess. And sound is pretty balanced. Seats can be improved tho

Pleasantly surprised by how well maintained the theatre is. Seats are very good and better than the Lido mall theaters.

Movie started on time and refreshments are reasonably priced too. The restrooms are maintenaned well. Connectivity is good via the metro line as well. Just a 10min walk from the MG road metro station and 15min from the Trinity station.

The best movie experience for me in Bangalore. It’s an LED display and not the conventional experience you get in other movies. Parking is cheap but not clean. Snacks are as usual, expensive but not at the levels of PVR. Usually crowded for all good movies.

Its superb and bigger screen. But from outside if you look at that it doesn't seems like that bigger theatre. Only problem was front side seats are all on same height, if someone taller you sits in front of you it will difficult to watch the movie. But seat are good and comfortable. Snacks they served was good and it was fresh. Also it was affordable compared to other cinemas.

The screen is very bright and picture quality is great. The silver class seats were good enough and comfortable with great leg room. The sound quality was amazing. For 2D films this theatre is very good, not sure about 3D. The overall experience was good.

Recent visit: Above points still holds good. Well worth the ticket price. Best large auditorium theatre experience for 2d movies.

Had been there to watch avatar 2. *Firstly the parking is okayish it doesnt have a roof its open space(attached pic).
For 2 wheelers its 30rs and for 4 wheelers its 50rs, its a open for all kinda parking not just for the theatre hence u would be charged before parking it unlike the malls where they charge according to the timings.
* Before entering u have a waiting place like a canteen type where the food is quite expensive.
* Theatre experience was awesome i had booked in silver class the last row in the middle column (three columns in silver class). The seats were not in a step wise or raised manner hence the front seats will interfere with your view. The seats were comfortable. The theatre was neat and well maintained.
*The screen was huge, bright and colourful was worth paying and will compensate for all the other cons. 3D effect is same as all the other theatres.
*Speakers audio quality not that great comparatively to pvr, inox or Cinepolis which is dolby but yeah it serves the purpose just fine.
Extra - there is this front row with lounge type (pic attached) seats which is of the same price as silver tried sitting there for sometime it was really good and the screen size increases and 3d experience too . Preferably if u get a middle seat there go for it. Since its a lounge type seat there is not much strain.
* Have Attached videos of screen view from both last row middle column and the first row.

This quality picture u won't get in India because this is LED SCREEN ,,. (means 14 metre LED 4K TV) and sound coming from JBL speaker

Excellent theater as far as the viewing experience is concerned. The seat arrangements are very comfortable and plenty of seats makes it great especially for watching first day shows of superstar. The food is good and enough parking space. Entrance to the theater can be better managed. The Samsung screen makes it crystal clear picture. Overall, great experience.

The theatre is really well and cleanly maintained . It has a lift facility. I watched my favourite actor's movie on the first day , I was really amused by the theatre experience. The sound quality at its peak beat 💯. One must definitely experience watching a movie in this theatre. I would prefer visiting more in future.

Had an amazing experience at Swagat Shankarnag Theater! The sound quality is truly outstanding, delivering an awesome audio experience. One small hiccup is the open bike parking in the sun, priced at 30 rupees. However, there's a hidden gem – a basement parking option at 50 rupees, offering shade on sunny days. Highly recommend choosing the basement parking during daytime visits. Overall, a fantastic theater with just a minor parking consideration.

It's LED projector gives a very good view and great experience to watch in this screen. LED screen gives best clarity too.

Located in center of MG Road and easy to reach as Metro station is very close by.

Also has the huge parking area and two wheeler parking charges is ₹30.

Silver class is in the 2nd floor and Gold class is in the 4th floor. Even food is quite ok.

Nowadays watching movie has become a big task. Even going to theatre entire crowd is watching the movie silently. After long time seen the crowd enjoying with full mode in this theatre only. Enjoying movie with big crowd is awesome. Laser projection, comfortable seats, good digital atmos effect- all much needed is available in this theatre.

This is the future of cinemas. Biggest LED Cinema screen, braided with Samsung OnYx LED panels. Resolution and Brightness is top notch, like more of the 4K. JBL surround sound is a bliss. Attention to detail is there in both Picture and Sound. Most of the cinemas need to adapt this technology. Overall had a great experience in watching a movie.

Theater ok for ticket cost. Can increase sound effects. Snacks are much costlier.
Parking good. Lift only one problem can increase the number of lifts..
