The River Ganga flows through Patna and one cannot leave here without experiencing a boat ride near Gandhi Ghat. A boat ride in the Ganges in the months of October-March could be mesmerizing with its serene and captivating surroundings.

The Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation has also made available motorboats on weekends and recreation arrangements. It serves as an ideal place for picnic with friends and family. However, the river-side activities are not that developed as compared to Varanasi and Haridwar.
