The temple is near Gurgaon Railway Station and Gurgaon Bus Stand.

There is redevelopment going on inside the temple. A new temple building is under construction.

There was no rush when we visited recently.

The temple is very famous ...

It is heavily crowded during Navratri and other festivals... The queue was too long and we had to wait for hours... It was very tiring and boring to wait for such long hours...

Also, when the temple is so crowded you cannot offer Prasad inside the temple which is sad....

I felt a deep sense of connection and tranquility while visiting. The staff and volunteers are welcoming and friendly, ensuring a memorable experience. Mata sheetla is wife of guru Dronacharya (guru of Pandavas )
She is famously known as choti kata (Devi who cures small pox) because she devoted all her life to cure people with chicken pox.

It is Known as "gurgame ali mata" in Rajasthan and Haryana. New borns are taken here " jaat lgane ke liye"

Stayed there for half an hour

Shri Mata Sheetla Devi mandir is one of the greatest temple in North India. Blessed to be in Gurgaon. Just go, get blessed by Mata and Bhairon baba. Refrain from wandering babas around. Jai maa 🙏

It was good experience

Sheetla mata is considered the protector of kids that's why people visit sheetla mata temple to receive the blessing of mata. If you are planning to visit, avoid weekends or else prepare yourself to face the heavy crowd. As we visited on weekdays, we didn't face such a problem. Got Darshan of Mata without facing the crowd.

Beautiful Temple of Sheetla Devi Maa. Very big campus and very well managed. On a regular day you can get Darsham very easily. There is a car parking right next to the temple.

Super arrangement, systematic and smooth moondan ceremony. Staff is very helpful and cooperative. Mata ji Darshan and moondan ceremony nicely organized. Rajesh Bhai is always prepared to help any person coming from outside.

Divine pleasure you will get after Mata Darshan. Peaceful ambience and Divine bliss you will get there. No Rush and No Entry fee.

Beautiful and holistically spiritual place. Remember your car parking as there are a lot with similar parking, if you want to visit at night time do come before 9 :00 pm as mata darshans are easy that time.. lastly, don't get trapped by babas and all.. hope you get my point.

Sheetla Mata mandir is one of the most popular mandir in gurugram or you can say Haryana . People came here from many different parts of India . It is so crowded at the time of navrat’s but other times it have only few people and you don’t have to worry about long lines for darshan . Site is under construction but it is open for visitors at its original location . Drinking water is available everywhere and you don’t have to pay for parking and entrance fee for temple.

So beautiful so devine must go there . Jai Mata Di.

History:

The ancient Shri Mata Sheetla Devi temple is situated in the heart of Gurugram City, in the National Capital Region. Legend has it that during the Mahabharata period, Guru Kripacharya’s sister Kripi was married to Guru Dronacharya. Gurugram, being the venue of the ashram of Guru Dronacharya, where Pandavas and Kauravas received their education, Kripi was the Gurumata to them. Since , the physical and mental sufferings of human beings especially children were alleviated by her blessings, Guru Mata Kripi became famous as Sheetla Mata. There are many other tales common in folklore eulogising the glory and grace of Shri Mata Sheetla Devi.

This temple is so peaceful in the morning.
You get Mata darshan and blessings very easily.
The management of tamples is good but please keep change with you.
