So when we were in Srinagar, we gave this place a shot. We are pure vegetarians and this was supposedly THE best place to have great vegetarian food as informed by the local people as well as the reviews in here.

Well, according to me, this is definitely not the best place or THE place to survive the days you are enjoying in Srinagar. You can give it a shot though. Some people might like it and would be ready to eat here all the days during their stay and some of them won't. Personally, I didn't like it.

The food here is very decent👌🏻. Well, the food actually tastes good but is really really oily. I didn't feel like eating here again. There wasn't a little bit of craving after I left the place. It's just alright for one try, I guess.

Besides, it gets really crowded here. Fortunately, we had dinner here at around 7:30 PM and the crowd was just beginning to come in. If you're here at the 'peak' time, you cannot expect to sit where you'd like to and enjoy a meal with your family or friends. You have to sit where ever there's vacancy, finish your meal and off you go!

We'd ordered rajma rice (tasty, yum but really oily!), roti and subzi (don't exactly remember which one but again oily). Overall, it's a decent place. Worth a shot.

P.S. - Waiting for the order, I was a bit jobless so I clicked all the pages of the menu. Hope this helps you. :P I'm tagging them with my review. Also, there are really good dhaba/hotels exactly opposite to the Dal Lake. I don't exactly remember their names but they were Punjabi Dhaba and Dilli Da Dhaba I guess. Tasty food, amazing pani puri and lip-smacking gulab jamoons there!

This diwali i visit Kashmir. I visit Krishna daba 3times. Once for family dinner. Second for morning breakfast and 3rd time for late night dinner. This is fully veg restaurant in Kashmir. If you are vegetarian you have to suffer for veg food. We love the food from Krishna dhaba. According to Delhi the price of food is very high but for visitor its normal. Highly recommended.

One of the best vegetarian restaurants in Kashmir valley!! The panner parotha with raita is a must have! And don’t miss the Rajma Chawal in the end! Mouth watering food.

Love the food... If you have a big craving for North Indian and other good foods.. This is the place in Srinagar... U must come here. Usually you will be disappointed with quality and preparation of food in Srinagar.. But this place will fulfill your taste buds...

This restaurant is best among all pure veg restaurant I visited during my tour in Srinagar. Prices are approved by J&K Govt. Foods are damn tasty. Card payments are accepted. Clean and behaviour of staff and owner / cashier is nice.

Amazing food experience. Small place, always crowdy, but the food was amazing. We ordered 3 types of Dosa and 1 set of Alu Paratha and each item was worthy. Must try place when you are in Kashmir.

It is near dal lake, a veg hotel kind dhaba, they serve only veg food, mostly breakfast.

Chhole bhature was really so much tasty, masala dosa was also superb. You will get normal breakfast option here as we get in mumbai pune and also with normal rates.

The location and seating arrangement is good. Usually it is crowded in morning as many visitors and locals visit here.

While coming to this place you will find numerous restaurants with the same name. Choose wisely.
Food is very good, budget friendly and nice place to dine but there are chances that you will have to wait in que to get a seat.
Dilli di Rasoi is another alternative to this.

We have visited this place for dinner. Probably the best vegetarian place in srinagar. If you are visiting Kashmir and want to eat pure vegetarian, this place is for you. Superb taste in a budget. Everytime you go you will find huge rush there. One of the best Indian traditional food place to try.

Known for North Indian/Punjabi style food, their Aloo Paratha and Rajma chawal has a loyal following.
Also try their dal fry, paneer dishes and punjabi thali.

We stopped here for breakfast on two consecutive days on our visit on Srinagar.

The parathas were piping hot, super yummy and filling. We were amazed at the size and also the thickness of the parathas. The curries Chole and Rajma were also perfectly done.

A great option for super tasty veg food. Do stop over on your visit to Srinagar.

Place was aswome.i visited yesterday with my family. Best restaurant for family. Best for veg . I ordered paneer burji🧀 ,veg pulao dal makhani with roti 🍱was aswome. Food quality was too good and served on time. Definitely recommend....

Krishna Dhaba is probably the busiest veg restaurant around the area. It's very famous between the tourists and locals alike. Cheap and yummy food. Variety of options but they do not accept cards.
You might have to share your table with other tourists or locals as it's always busy and people waiting there.

A must-visit for rajma Chawal lovers .. they serve pure veg food.

You have to be little patient to visit as they have waiting , also parking is a bit of challenge if you go for lunch.they close their restaurant sharp by 10pm

A pure bliss for all the veg lovers here. All things on the menu are good as per word of mouth from people.
Their Rajma is the speciality dish.

You need to take care of 2 things
Has limited seating option so plan accordingly
Parking has to be done on your own risk.

Food is good & go 10 min early this place is very crowded & famous
