Simple Biriyani which helps you savour the taste of the main ingredients (the well cooked beef and the spices) and not the unwanted masala. The red snapper tawa fry was more than sufficient for 3 people. Good vegetarian selection too. Remember to end your meal with the lemon mint cooler.

Ordered the classic beef biriyani. The rich blend of beef portions and masala was an amazing feeling. The way they treat their customers, how delicious the dishes are here , everything is just wow. Ambience could have been better. There are a lot of dishes available including a lot of seafood items.

This place is famous for their signature Beef biryani. It’s just delicious. I keep visiting again just for this dish.
The service is quick, friendly and very good. The waiter this time served dishes with a warm smile, which is a typical gesture from the warm and friendly people of Malabar region.
Tried fish biryani and grilled mackerel also from this place.
Fish biryani is dum style, not like the usual fried fish pieces used in regular fish biryanis. It was a different experience.
Grilled mackerel (Ayala) was also good, with the fish cooked perfectly well.
Definitely a must try restaurant in Calicut. I would definitely visit again.

The beef biryani was great. Parking space is available within walking distance. There is free Auto rikshaw service from the parking lot to the hotel.Expect some crowd always. The staff was friendly.

Best and authentic Kozhikodan biryani. Aikoora fish fry and Amoor fish fry were also very tasty.. must try!

As a tourist in Calicut, I had a great meal at the hotel. The biryani rice was well cooked and flavorful. The service was quick and staff were kind. The food is priced well and I highly recommend this to anyone stopping/passing through Calicut

I visited Rahmat Hotel after hearing a lot about this hotel. Beef Biryani and Kaada fry are the most famous items here. But for me, I don't eat Beef Nd Kaada fry was not ready at 12 Noon. Me and my wife tried Chicken Biryani & Squid Biryani. I really appreciate the taste. Since it's a very old hotel so in terms of service they are good and very prompt as they have a lot of guys to deal with any crowd. Also, this restaurant is spread over 3 floors.
Visit here and have their famous Beef Biryani & Kaada fry. Environment wise it's good but ambience wise I don't suggest this place.

Travelled all the way from Kottayam to taste the famous Rahmath biriyani. Was delicious, stayed true to its name, loved the experience. Staff was welcoming, service was good despite the rush.

This is my favourite restaurant in Calicut city of Kerela. You will get everything you desire and the taste of the food served is yummy. The staff are well trained and the atmosphere is amazing 😍.

The taste was enjoyable.

The meat was cooked perfectly. This biriyani is made with small rice and not too much masala.

It was very rushed when we visited at 10pm.

You must try it once you're in Calicut.

The rice was soft and the biryani itself felt like it was easy to eat.

Recommended place to visit , even you can go just to eat the biryani.
It's near the railway station,just walking distance from the station.
The only problem is the rush , there is a separate building for families.

The place is a must visit place for Biryani lovers.
1. Located close to the town, this placed is easily accessible.
2. The parking space is 100 m away from the restaurant and can easily accomodate around 40 cars.
3. They have a separate family dining space with AC and non AC option.
4. The service was pleasant and fast.
5. I ate beef biryani and it was worth the price. They provide good quantity food and the taste is good.
6. Mint lime was also great here.
7. I visited this place on Sunday around 12pm and it wasn't crowded.
