Calicut Chimney

I was not sure about this place because of all the negative reviews. But it took me by surprise. The food was good. The ambiance was good. The service was great. I had Mutton Kurumulaku Soup, Nasi Goreng, Chicken Biriyani, Porotta and Meen Chatty Curry. All of it tasted good. The only negative thing I found here was that they made spelling errors in their menu. Like, for Fish Molly they spelled Fish Moulie and for Nasi Goreng it was Nazi Goreng *face palm*

Wonderful food spot for a calm and luxurious dinner with reasonable price and hygienic location. Providing sprouts and starter drinks as a compliment. Chicken,beef, mutton and seasonal fish also available. also delicious vegetarian items available.Must visit place at Calicut and highly recommended spot. The property is a sub division of Yash groups.

One of the best kerala meals lunch experience I've had. Plus it has pool side party area, best thing is they only charge for the food for poolside parties.

‘Fish Curry Meals’ at Calicut Chimney is worth the ₹120 you pay for it. Everything from Avial to Erisheri, Chamandi, Achar, Dried Fish Mango Curry, Fish Curry with Coconut Milk, Sambhar.... you get the picture. Totally delicious and the staff are super courteous.

I just loved the food and ambience from this restuarant.I loved the vegetarian food the most and they served all of then with full hygeneie and hot tasty food
Welcome drinks are awesome and the staffs are well trained and behaved.North Indian veg food are my favs in this restuarant.Parking space is ok and the location is right in the heart of the city near the Ksrtc bus terminal.I will surely give this restuarant 5/5.👍👍👍

Such an amazing place in the centre of Calicut city....Its calm and quiet restaurant ...Not too crowdy... Best part is you can enjoy your food with family and friends as its not crowd.. Next coming to taste of food, they have good spicy prawn and sea food...When i tried twice it was great, when i visited recently for third time it was okay okay... It was not the same taste as i hd tasted earlier from the same place....

The juice was little expensive as 100 rupees for a watermelon juice is moderately high price. Otherwise everything was awesome.

Good service, nice ambience and some unique dishes. Do they their Chicken Korma and butter chicken (the best we've tasted so far this side of Punjab) in combo with some ghee rice or Kerala Porotta. They have a small selection of freshly baked cake slices and doughnuts.

Great food. Good customer service . Their manager is very friendly and deserves special mention. One of the best Kerala porottas I ever had in Calicut. Neyy pathal and phulka were also awesome. We tried a couple of crab dishes,squid fry and mutton masala and I must say these people are good... Really good. Fish tawa fry was not that great though. Probably we had the wrong choice of fish. Pricing is decent. Only concern would be the parking.

After a long tiring train journey, me n my family had lost hope in finding a good place to have food in Calicut at this odd hour. Surprisingly saw a hygienic family restaurant just a few yards away from KSRTC bus station, "Calicut Chimney". Even more surprised by seeing the food menu available at 2.30 in the morning. Food was so hot and delicious. Rest the pics will convey. A must visit place at Calicut.

Our party was awesome.... All cuisines are mind-blowing....we really enjoyed ..Calicut chimney wins our heart... As a medical student.... I really appreciate their ethics towards food making...No Ajinomoto... What else we need from a hotel like this.....

Tasty food. And also our favorite restaurant in Kozhikode . Whenever we travel to Kozhikode will visit this restaurant. The staff also good and given the food in a good way. The complimentary drinks are always variety and tasted many foods and all are amazing. The food quality and the cleanest atmosphere. The lunch menu are mentioned in the board and having a high standards in foods .Lovely place and the kappa and chutta kozhi is awesome, especially there chutney its mind-blowing. Always my favourite restaurant.

The food and the ambience is good and the service is quick and very accommodating.The restaurant is in walking distance of Private bus stand and KSRTC bus stand.The manager had suggested chembally for the dinner which cannot be expressed in mere words but nice photo will truly invoke the foodie in you.

It's a great place to dine out with family and friends. Great food and ambiance. Food is fresh and healthy.
