HOTEL AVI INN BY JR GROUP OF HOTELS AMRITSAR

After fighting at Swaran Hotel because of their uncleaned and unhygienic rooms, I finally made my way toward the Jallianwala Bagh market. There, I came across this hotel and I didn't want to book in advance after going through a harsh experience. The staff at the hotel showed me two rooms and I loved both of them. However, my stay was for two days so I booked the compact room. It was a great experience to stay at this hotel. I paid 50% in advance and 50% while leaving the hotel. The rooms were clean. The TV was working fine but I missed the wiper, toilet paper, and face wipes in the bathroom. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and room tariff was reasonable. Also, they should have a kettle in the room and some coffee and tea as well.

I was sceptical before booking this hotel because we had a bad experience in other hotels in Punjab during our trip. Amritsar was the last destination of trip and thank God we booked Hotel Avii after searching and reading so many hotels and their reviews. We didn't want to end our trip with bad experience. We called a day before and had a talk about the price and all. We didn't book in advance because we wanted to see the room 1st (because of our previous experience). We saw both the family suit and single rooms. Family suit doesn't have windows and single rooms are in the front facing the road. We booked 2single room. Rooms were clean and hygiene. Bathroom was clean, soaps and hot water was available. Tea coffee,milk powder sachets, water bottle, mug, kettle were there. They were not at all pushy people like other hotels who push people to book cab or taxi or go to a certain shop to buy things which they have a team up with. Now talk about location,it's very near to jallianawag and golden temple. The location is perfect because after the hotel Avi the road is closed by barricades. So if you book room after the barricades or very very close to temple then you have to carry your luggage and the road will be narrow too. But hotel Avii is situated in such area that cab could reach till the gate. As we were very close to the main area , we felt safe to roam and explore the market for shopping even after late night. Overall the experience was good. Tarrif per night is reasonable and not hard on pocket. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

Rooms are smaller than expected but sufficient enough. The location is perfect, within a kilometre from Golden Temple.

The hotel is in 50 meters or less vicinity of Gurudwara Sahib. Rooms were super clean. If you have a big family, book family room, you will get two king size beds in the same room and that too spacious. We booked family and deluxe room. They were super clean. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from the hotel, but they surprised me. The manager - Ashwani and the front desk - Jasbir kumar were very helpful and customer oriented. I would recommend this.

This hotel is very close to the Harmandir Sahib. Just walking distance to Jallianwala bagh and Harmandir Sahib. Very neat and comfortable rooms. Ashwiniji was so courteous and polite, extremely helpful right from the time I booked the stay till we were dropped to the airport!
I highly recommend this place of you are looking for a good hotel in proximity of the GoldenTemple. There are some lovely food joints right next to the hotel. You can even order a la carte. The king size room has two large beds for a large family. the deluxe room is also good

The hotel is in the main market of Amritsar. Rooms are good and clean. You may order food on "A la-carte" basis. Its is around 100 mts away from Jallianwala Bagh and 500 mts from Golden Temple. There are so many 24 hours food joints just outside the hotel.

Rooms are great, service was good, no complaints.
Just as information to readers - the location is hardly a 5 min walk from the hotel. But cabs do not go till in front of the hotel (it is a restriction of the temple area). However there are auto rickshaws that come in front of the hotel.
I saw many other hotels near temple and this location is farrr better

Avi Inn location is top notch. It is the last place you can go till in a vehicle. Jallianwala bagh is hardly 100m away and so is golden temple. The staff is excellent. They also helped us in getting our car parked nearby. Keep in mind none of the hotels have parking in that area. Manage Ashwini Sharma & staff Ganesh were great. Thanks to them had a wonderful stay.

A great place to stay if you visit Amritsar. Close to Jallianwala Bagh and Golden Temple. Very hospitable and supportive staff.

A very good service...the service in the hotel was just perfect...clean rooms nice staff. I would only recommend this hotel. When I left the hotel I left my camera there and the employee at the front desk called me and explained it to me. then i went back to the hotel and got the camera. really great of you... so loyal and honest people... keep up the good work... i only recommend the Hotel to you...I was very happy about this hotel!

Clean and spacious rooms. Very close to Jallianwallah bagh, Golden Temple and new Partition Museum. All spots walking distance. The staffs were very helpful and attentive.
The only issue would be parking.

Property is at a good location, very near to Golden Temple (300 meters) and Jaliwanawag (100 meter). All amenities and ambience are excellent. Staffs are extremely polite and we'll behaved and services are excellent.

Lovely hotel just walking distance from Golden Temple ..no restaurant but rooms are quite good. Many dhabas near by hence good option for food. We stayed in month of July and found no hot water but those who are interested to visit Golden Temple in night, this hotel is most convenient for family also

The hotel is decent, at prime location walking from main area and autos are available outside hotel to go anywhere.
The staff is coperative and responsive. Both managers are nice and polite, took good care of us. Rooms have all basic amenities. Overall a good deal.
