Stay Shaandaar (a boutique hotel) Amritsar

It's a small boutique hotel. However, they have maintained it pretty well and have a kids' play area. My 2 year old loved it. Also, crowd staying over here is different than normal hotels. I had a great conversation with guests staying in the same hotel.
Rooms are little small for 2 adults and 1 child.

A beautifully cosy hotel that is perfect if visiting the Golden Temple. Rooms were tastefully decorated and the hosts were extremely hospitable. The cafe next to the lobby is a lovely spot for a light breakfast or a delicious chai before going to bed. Thank you to Mandeep and the team for making me feel so welcome.

Compact stay facility with good homely food. Ambience is cool & well thought about arrangements. The place is located about 40-45 min from airport but close to Golden Temple & other sight seeing location in Amritsar. It’s a convenient stay altogether. We loved the place !!

One of the nicest properties I have stayed at, the interiors are so nicely done, the property gives you a homely feeling, the food is great, and everyone at the property is so welcoming in nature. Golden temple is also at a walking distance from the property. Kudos! :)

One of the best luxurious stays in Amritsar with all 5 star facilities. The ambience is just wow, all staffs are so much humble and service is superb. I definitely will recommend to stay here.

Beautiful and Cozy rooms, fast service, staff is really good. It's just a small hotel with only 3 rooms. But they provide good quality service.

Wow! What a wonderful stay at stay shaandaar. Must recommend to all visiting Amritsar. It went through all smooth at this property.location was great little away from congested streets. Owner mandeep is great and very accomodating and helpful.the staff was exceptional especial mention rani who looks after us very well and avtar.

Simply the most affordable and magnificent place to stay in Amritsar. Great food, helpful staff, comfortable rooms and generous hospitality surely exceeds the expectations.

A quite place with rustic ambiance makes it a perfect place to stay close to the city center.

Excellent stay. Close to Golden Temple. We arrived at night time and arranged a taxi through the hotel. They were perfect, we accidentally gave them the wrong flight details but they still managed to pick us up and safely get us to the hotel. It is cold in north Punjab at this time of the year and the room was chilly, we asked for a heater and it was promptly sorted out. Shower was nice/ hot. Food was lovely. Staff were friendly. Mr Gurlovely and his assistant were kind and helpful throughout the stay. Even arranged for us to play with a kite on the rooftop! The internet connection is brilliant. I would stay here again when visiting next time. Thanks to all the staff for a lovely first experience in Punjab. So far our favourite place.

A very nice stay in this small boutique hotel near by the golden temple, rooms are very clean and calm, they provide very nice breakfast and food ( no spicy for westerns) we apréciate so much.

This place is a diamond in the rough. Might not look like much from the outside, but the staff and amenities are great. The rooms are cozy but clean with modern bathrooms. The staff are polite and will cater to all your needs, they even arranged an auto for us at 5am to the golden temple. Will definitely stay here again. Just a heads up, order your food well in advance. It takes long because it’s super fresh!

I stayed in StayShandaar for 2 days.WHAT A STAY !! 😍 I researched alot of hotels before reaching Amritsar.This stay is a prefect combination of 5 star amenities and hostel vibes ✨WORTH THE PRICE. Their hospitality is 5/5 and they host you with alot of warmth.Such a safe space for SOLO travelers too. It is near to Golden Temple so commute is not a problem.They have 5 star hotel vibes and common area to play games,shared kitchen,iron table and in-house cafe.I would recommend you to book this property right away for good experience.Don’t forget to try their yum breakfast.

Stay shaandar has been a great place to stay. We loved the way the staff took care of us and special thanks to Mr Gurloveleen. The food they cooked there was very tasty. Walkable distance to the temple and other shopping places nearby. Would definitely recommend to any of my friends going to Amritsar. Thanks Stay shaandar for making our trip a memorable one.

Hotel Shaandaar is a beautiful, homely Boutique hotel located at Amritsar, it is quite close to the Golden Temple. The moment you enter into the hotel, you are greeted with big smiles from the receptionist Mr. Gurvaleen and the care taker, Mr. Satnam. Both of them were such great helps to us during our stay. Satnam was such an all rounder, he would always be ready to help and feed us with some mind blowing food. The hotel has an extensive breakfast, lunch, dinner and all day menu. I would highly recommend the parathas and the egg Maggi. They have a coffee dispenser as well. They have a common kitchen area that has a microwave to make your food warm and a common ironing board and iron. They have a recreational room with different board games. The rooms we stayed in were sufficiently sized for two travellers. The room had basic necessities such as tea, coffee, hot water kettle, a TV and a heater, which we got on request as we visited them during winters. The bathroom/toilet was perfectly neat and had amenities like hot water, hair dryer, a comb, shower cap, shaving / make up mirror and towels. What I loved most about this quaint little hotel was how the owner has painfully thought about the smallest details, it's really commendable. Thank you Mr Mandeep. They have a kite flying session as well as a turban tying session. We loved our stay at Shaandaar and we will back for sure. I would highly recommend this hotel to travellers that are looking out for a comfortable, homely and an over all great experience.

Awesome experience staying in this place. Fresh food, quick service. If you have time to kill have a go at various strategically placed games. Well located. Owner has done the interiors in a very unique way. Must visit.

Beautiful new hotel, located little bit outside of city center, but is a pleasant walk through bustling streets of Amritsar (20min to the Golden temple). There is good layout of rooms, so it's always quiet. The whole hotel is decorated really good. Wifi was good, and room was really clean.

Excellent place to stay. So close to everything religious and main inner city. Loved Mnt stay here. Compact and hassle free. Safe most important. Lots of public transportation. Quick access.

The hotel as well as the rooms are very clean and has the best hospitality. Mr. Mandeep Singh and Mr. Harnoor Singh will guide you throughout your stay and make it a pleasant stay. Their hospitality is remarkable. The hotel provides you with many facilities and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The ambience is unique and if you're planning to visit Amritsar, then Stay Shaandaar is the best place to be!

I stayed on night as a tourist. The place is clean and quite. The interior is well design which makes it a cozy place. The old town and the golden temple are in walking distance.

I did like the breakfast. they also provide lunch and dinner which I did not try The service is very good. The staff tries to solve every request.
