Amritsar Sahib to Have “Golden Gates” at Four Major Entrances

AMRITSAR SAHIB—In a proposed plan to “further face-lift the beauty of Sri Amritsar” Sahib, the State Government has announced that golden entrance gates would be installed at all four major entrances of the city. The decision was announced by CM Parkash Badal who shared that the gates would cost Rs. 300 million.

The design of the gate symbolizes the domes of Sri Harmandir Sahib and has been proposed by Guru Nanak Dev University. Special flood lights and landscaping will be done next to these gates.

The first gate would be installed at the Amritsar-Jallandhar road and the plans have already been passed by the State Government. The gate would be raised at the cost of Rs. 70 million. The rest of the gates would be raised at Amritsar-Attari, Amritsar-Batala and Amritsar-Tarn Taran roads.

While the State Government is spending a huge budget to install these gates, it also needs to pay attention to other growing concerns in Amritsar Sahib, especially that of pollution and uncleanliness. Strict laws need to be passed and stressed by local authorities to keep the city clean.

It's Main entrance Gate for Amritsar city. From there on you are close to Golden temple , Bus stand and Mall of Amritsar. It's painted in golden colour. It's very big in size and easily noticeable from far away.
It's a proud of Amritsar's city.
From there is you can easily get a Auto Richkaw and buses for in and out of the city. There is red light on the entrance so be carefully and it's mostly busy intersection.

It looks good at night. Now local bus service is also available to enjoy your ride throughout the city.

It is big gate in Amritsar entrance, its welcomes gate in Amritsar city for all who come to see golden temple, this gate made by iron and looks like gold. The total manufacturing cost of this gate is 9 crore, its make Amritsar more beautiful and at night lights give different look to this gate and its look marvellous.

It is nice gate . It is on Amritsar bypass.When you enter the gate then you feel that you have enter in shri Amritsar sahib which is a religious place. It has nice greenery both side in long queue. There is also available metro bus. If any body on the gate they can take metro buses easily.
