Its a hidden gem in Amritsar. One should also visit the place while arriving Amritsar. Travelling time plus touring time will hardly take 40 minutes.

A comprehensive maze temple with all the popular murthis in India under one roof.
Lot of stairs to climb but they are not steep, towards the end there is a small rock that needs to be carefully climber over.
We went to the temple on a Friday morning and there was no line and it was not crowded at all.
A must see in Amritsar along with Golden temple.

Mata Lal Devi Mandir Amritsar : Mata Lal Devi was here from 1947 till 1992. There is a different kind of peace in here. The idols have a charm of their own. The temple opens in the morning to late evening. They follow hygiene protocol and have sanitizer stands installed. The architecture is superb and detailing is intricate. Visited with my five year old daughter and she saw so many god idols (Famous Idols and their pilgrims structure) and asked about them. Recommended place for Family with their kids.

One of the must visit place at sightseeing of Amritsar. Mata Lal Devi was sadhika of Bhagwan Shri Krishna. At her memory this temple is built. You will get langar during lunch time after Puja of Mata Lal Devi. After that you will start to visit gufa and Vaishno Devi. During gufa path you will be able to see many dev devi sculptures.

At a distance of 1 km from Amritsar Junction and 3.5 km from Harmandir Sahib, Mata Lal Devi Mandir is a sacred Hindu temple situated in Rani Ka Bagh, Amritsar. Popularly known as Pujya Mata Ji, Lal Devi Mandir is one of the top religious places to visit in Amritsar. It's such a beautiful and amazing temple. The ambience is very peaceful specially for those who have not visited every gods places. In this place there is a very nice ambience and little confusion inside but go through the guidance you feel almost katra vaishno devi feeling. This place is certainly a must visit on Amritsar trip. It has almost all the pilgrimage places and each one has been properly labelled so you know what you are seeing. And Mata Vaishno Mandir has been built equally well. The main Mata Lal Devi mandir is on the ground floor while for other temples you need to climb upstairs. Some parts of the temple need you to enter a cave sort of structure with water on the floor.

Fantastic temple with Darshan of every possible saints and God from North to South, East to West India. Perfect use of a limited space .. entering Gufa was a thrill. Feels like you are seriously going for a Vaishno devi yatra in a short span.

Very soothing place. May mata Lal Devi bless you all🙏🙏❤

Note : keep your shoes in the shoe racks not in front of any shop as they will insist you to buy 'Prashad'. They charge very high for that. My piece of advice will be, just buy 1 mala and Prashad only. It will not cost you more than 50 rupees because they will give you basket, for which they will charge you around 350 rupees.
Inside the temple don't go to anybody. Just do your payers by yourself because there are "pujaris" in the temple who will ask for money.

This is a must go place in Amristar. As it has replicas of all the famous temples in India like vaishno Devi Mandir, ardh kanya kunwari, jagannath puri, ek lingam, 14 jyotirling and so on). Inside at most of the place you will find meenakari of glass which is stupendous. Also you have to go through man made caves to feel the real experience of our shrines. A mind blowing and blissful experience it was.

It is named after Saint Lal Devi who founded this place.

So Mandir Mata Lal Devi is as bizarre as the Golden Temple is elegant. Legend has it that this Hindu temple, dedicated to the female saint Lal Devi, can boost the fertility of women who visit. But to non-devotees, the labyrinthine attraction resembles a funhouse.

Main attraction was Mata Vaishnodevi gufa. Very near to original. Divine and satisfying experience.. must go there once. Langar is open for all time and for all there. Well managed and well maintained place.
