Sagar dighi at evening is the go-to-place for people especially the younger souls just like migratory birds do in winter upon this shimmering waterbody.

On the other hand, the circumambulatory road being narrow invites traffic jams; the year round continuous construction adds to the woe of the pedestrians

Sagar dighi is the best place in Coochbehar for eveing time pass. The biggest waterbody in the town with foot path sarrounding it. Newly renovated the area by Municipality and it is well lighted now. The best place for evening walk. You can have good tea, momos, tikka and other snacks on its three sides except on the western side.

Cool breeze, range of food options, mostly Chinese, and Desi. Amazing tea. Good place for evening and morning excercise. All govt offices are located here including SP office. Posh area and doctor hub.

Huge tank situated in the heart of the city, Sagardighi was excavated by Maharaja Hitendra Narayan. It is situated at the heart of the city. Most of the district headquarters are there surrounding this place.

People who comes to coochbehar must visit this place ..River in the middle and is surrounded by many food stalls such as pavbaji ,momo & steam chicken, chats etc etc. & mostly people come here in the evening to hangout with friends and family . There are many atm counters nearby ..overall environment is very good.
