Kuteti Devi Temple

The Kuteti Devi Temple, regarded highly by the people of Uttarkashi, and the guardian deity of some major clans here, is situated close to the Vishwanath Temple, and is known to have been established by the son in law and daughter of King Kota.

Mata Raja Rajeswari Kutti Devi temple is situated in a nice serene location on the hill slope of Uttarkashi. Since only a few tourists visit this temple, you can enjoy the pristine nature and offer prayer to Mata.

Only cars can reach this temple from the riverside route.

Story goes that king of kota Rajasthan had come to visit uttrakhand kingdom and married his daughter with the king in here and later the daughter got dreams of kota Devi which ,originally belonged to Kota later 3 idols were discovered in the present location of the Temple.

It was worth taking Darshan at such a nice place and the temple.

A small Goddess temple under renovation. The walk towards the temple from Uttarkashi market is breath taking the magnificent Bhagirathi river surrounding the small village huge mountains.
