This is a State owned tourist home.. Neat and clean reasonably priced. Ideal location for Chardham tours of Himalayas... Yamunothri, Gangothri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. Thanks

Good rooms. Beautiful property. Good staff and service. Apt for a night halt/ rest day enroute Yamnotri-Gangotri or even Gangotri-Kedarnath

As being a govt company don't expect much. Even you will have to carry your luggage to the room from the car at your own.

Excellent location, lovely food and courteous staff.

Excellent, very beautiful place... All the guest houses are very good. Very clean and well maintained. If am not wrong, I was informed by someone that these guest houses are opened 365 days, 24x7. Even in the worst of climate, they are open. They make / provide the best of the food, considering the climatic hindrances. The washroom are very clean. They are very caring - good to suggest and guide.

Few rooms are defective with broken amenities. Please check before check-in. Food is good but options are limited from vast menu. Staffs are helpful. Located just beside Bhagirathi river. Market is adjacent. Parking space is there along with central small garden. District tourism office is located in its premise. AC rooms are located above restourant/ tourism office block, facing towards river. Delux rooms are in main building.

It is one of the larger GMVN facilities with more rooms. The rooms are large and well kept. There is a fully functional restaurant serving decent food. The Kashinath jis temple is within walking distance and a must visit. There is a market and bus stand nearby. Stay is comfortable, would recommend it.

While Conducting trainings at Utterkashi I stayed this Tourist Rest House found neat & clean also not much expensive.

It's good place for hangouts. Room charges is so high. Dormitory is available but they provide you when you came with group. Single person they don't give Dormictory.

GMVN tourist Rest house is maintained by Uttarakhand tourism. They have branches all over Uttarakhand. They have dormatory rooms, family rooms, Suite etc. They have maintained it pretty well. Rooms are very neat and clean even the washrooms. Their tariffs differ from place to place. You can book it online as well as offline also. All the staffs are very cooperative and well mannered. They have restaurant. Their food is not much expensive. You can try their food. I hope you gonna enjoy your stay. We have stayed in Sonprayag, Kedarnath, Uttarkashi, Gangotri, Janki chatti etc.

I stayed in deluxe rooms 2wice. 1st while going 2 Gangotri n 2nd while returning.
Pros-
1. Spacious rooms.
2. Good toilets.
3. All amenities available.
4. Near to market , Biswanath temple n taxi stand.
5. Easy available of cabs.
6. Helpful reception. Though they don't have travel desk but try to help out wth contacts .
7. Staff is polite.
8. Value for trust ironised.
Cons-
1. Food is too expensive, low in qty n not up to d mark.
2. Rest every thing was ok.

Very good tourist resting place with grand accommodation, food and other facilities like free Wifi, newspaper reading, meeting rooms. We stayed here on our way to Kedarnath as part of our Chardham Yatra. The staff was very co-operative. One day, the breakfast was complementary. The lodging charges were included in the yatra fare. The stay in GMVN TRH is recommended.

Best place to stay. Food is bit costly but ambience is good.

Good property with neat & clean rooms, spacious rooms. Restaurant is also good with various foods... must recommend for family traveler going to Gangotri....

Nice hotel in very good location. Manager is very good. All staffs are good.

Clean rooms nice hospitality located near the banks of rhe river . Price is affordable too. Its suggested to opt for gmvn or kmvn or trc if you are visiting hill stations
